How would Mark/JB/Youngjae react if they came home to the apartment with it decorated (badly :3) with Christmas decorations?

Mark, the moment he opens the door, would notice the different-seeming atmosphere to the apartment.  Slowly, he would rid his feet of his shoes and torso of his heavy winter jacket before cautiously walking through the living room.  His head would roll back as he looks at all of the gaudy ceiling ornaments hanging down in unsightly groups, "Oh my gosh..." he'd whisper to himself, eyes now moving toward the window where you'd stuck many different stickers.  "Babe," he would call out, turning away from the living room decorations, only to find more as he searched for you through the apartment.  "Who destroyed the apartment?" Mark would ask upon seeing you lying defeated on the bed, exhausted from your hard work at decorating.  Once you make it thoroughly aware that it was all your doing and how lovely you believed it looked, he would laugh as he fakes some sort of smile and slyly lies, "Well it looks really great.. I, I love it!"

JB would have none of this!  Since he's as chic as he makes out to be, his apartment would also have to be just as chic as he.  Walking inside, he would watch you from a corner of the kitchen as you finish off your holiday decoration job, his lips upturned as he scowls at the garish ornaments stuck to and propped up all around the room.  "What have you done?!" he would cry out once you turn to JB to greet him, "Where did you even get this things?" He would start carefully picking up the Christmas items you'd placed on the kitchen counter, before looking back over at you with a grimace toward the showy little decoration.  "What if we were to just... change this all around a bit, eh?" He would propose this idea hopefully, but once he sees that disappointed look on your face, JB would narrow his eyes and let out a deep, deep sigh with a roll of his eyes.  "Just kidding...! It's too great to change up, you just keep doing your thing!" He'd force a grin and nod, turning and walking away because he can't believe he just caved into leaving these dumb decorations up!

Let's be honest here; Youngjae would have absolutely no problem with gaudy looking holiday decorations.  He truthfully wouldn't even be able to tell that they looked horribly awful, in fact:  Youngjae would definitely compliment all of the decorations as he walks throughout the apartment.  "WHOA! I really like this one!" he would yell, running toward the snowflake hanging down from the middle of the ceiling in the hallway.  He would reach up to grasp it and twirl it around before letting you take him on a tour of the rest of the decorated home.  "Why didn't you wait for me to do all of this?" Youngjae would pout, frowning at you as he admires the tinsel you'd put around the doorways.  "Is there anything left to do?  I want to decorate some now!" He'd exclaim after returning to the living room from the extensive tour of the apartment.  Once you tell him that you'd emptied the box of holiday decorations, he would cross his arms over his chest and pout, "Next time you decorate, you have to wait for me, okay?"

“It’s so nice to finally be home,” Mark announced as he plopped onto the couch as you were still removing your shoes at the door.  “I loved seeing everyone and all...but my gosh,” he continued, spouting out the frustration he felt toward being out from the early parts of the morning until the very end of daylight hours.

“I know, I know,” you agreed with his agitations, quickly joining him on the couch after removing your outside apparel.  “I’m beat and I’m aware that you are, too, but we need to have our special Christmas, now,” you cooed, hoping to ease his sour mood.  “And I know you’re going to love the presents I got you!”

Perking up more than previously, Mark sat up from his slouched position and leant forward as his eyes shot to the underneath of your small Christmas tree but soon back to you.  “Can’t we change first?” he proposed, fingers pinching at the fabric of his button up shirt.

You dug into the depths of your dresser drawer to grab not only one but two outfits; one for now and one for Mark’s surprise a little later on.  As soon as your clothes were in your hand, you darted from the bedroom to the bathroom, closing—and locking—the door behind yourself in order to change peacefully.  

“What the heck took you so long,” Mark snidely remarked, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

“It takes time to be this cute,” you snorted back, twirling as you grabbed at the antlers on the hood of your pajamas.  

“Are you saying I’m not cute because I didn’t take as long?!” Mark joked, holding his hand to his heart dramatically.

“That’s exactly it,” you laughed, shoving his shoulder. “No, but, let’s just open these now, I’m excited!”

  After each perfectly to less perfectly-wrapped box underneath your plastic tree had been opened and admired, it was finally time to let Mark have his last present for this year’s Christmas.  

“Wait, wait!” You yelled as Mark was beginning to get up from the floor, “I have one more gift for you, hold on!”  You pushed the wrapping paper off of your lap as you stood up, rushing through the living room and down the hall to the bedroom once again.  With a deep breath, you unzipped the deer pajama suit and threw it into the pile of other dirty clothes, leaving you now in very revealing lingerie, specially chosen to appeal to your boyfriend.

You halted for a moment, the anxiousness you were feeling getting the best of your fingers as you shakingly tried to apply a bright red headband with a large bow to your head.  “Okay, here goes,” you muttered, exiting the room and slowly making your way back to the equally anxious Mark.

“Close your eyes,” you ordered, still remaining out of his line of sight.

“They’re closed,” he replied soon after, having both squeezed his eyelids closed and held his hands over them as well.

“One, two, three,” you called out, now standing directly in front of your boyfriend, “Open!”  As his eyes opened, they got wider and wider, exploring every inch of your only slightly clothed body.  “I’m your last present,” you stated, shrugging your shoulders and giving him a sly grin.

“Does that mean I’m free to do whatever I please with you, then?” he asked, standing to his feet now as his arms reached out for you, hands landing on your hips to pull you closer to himself.

With a confirmation nod from you to his previous inquisition, Mark didn’t hesitate one moment to pull you flush against himself as his lips simultaneously made rough, needy contact with your own.  He slid his hands from your hips down to your butt, lifting you so that he could maneuver the both of your ways to the bedroom without breaking any—direly needed—contact with you.

As soon as the two of you entered the room, it was a rush to get to the bed and let hands roam wherever they pleased to.  Though, no matter how much you were enjoying the feeling of marks rough fingers scraping across your skin, the entire point to your ‘gift’ was to give Mark some well-deserved sexual attention after such busy schedules as of late.

“Mark,” you hummed, prying your lips from his to speak.  Once he took the time to pause and look at you, you used all of your power to literally flip the situation around; making yourself the person on top.

“Just let me do everything, okay?” you smirked, sliding your hand under his shirt and running your fingers up his abdomen in a sly attempt to get the shirt off of his torso.  It wasn’t much of an attempt, though, seeing as Mark was more than willing to remove the article of clothing for you, followed by the rest of his clothing.

It was as if you were beginning the events again as you crawled back up to Mark, pressing your lips to his, hands pressed flat against his bare chest.  His hands instantly found your sides, his fingers tenderly roaming the expanse of skin as they worked their way up to the clasp that kept your bra held against you.

As if trying to distract him, you trailed your lips from his down his jaw, tongue wandering against his flesh as you continuously kissed your way to his neck.  Teasing the skin in that area, you softly bit down and soon after soothed the area by running your tongue over it slowly.  Underneath you, Mark wriggled with impatience, already excited and ready for the events to yet arrive.

“Baaaabe,” he groaned, the pout evident just from his tone of voice.

With a soft breathed laugh against his neck, you reluctantly parted your lips from his neck, placing continuous soft pecks against his lips as you removed the remaining clothing from your body.  Sliding your hand between the small amount of room between your bodies and down his torso, you wrapped your fingers skillfully around his length, giving him a few excruciatingly slow strokes before lowering yourself onto him.

Mark quickly latched his hands onto your hips, fingers digging into your skin, likely to leave red blotches afterward.  It was only fair though, because you also were likely to leave marks of your own, what with the force you were pressing the tips of your fingers into his chest as you continuously lifted and lowered yourself onto him.

Not being able to take it any longer, Mark tightened his grip on your hips and flipped the two of you around, keeping his hold on you as he pushed himself further in and out of your core.  And with murmurs of some choice words accompanied by one more long, passionate kiss, it had felt as if your insides burst; endorphins filled with pure ecstasy rushing around your brain as your body shook from the sheer pleasure you were feeling.  Collapsing beside you in a heap of sweat and panted breaths, Mark had most definitely experienced the same ecstatic feelings as you had.

“Oh my… Wow,” he breathed, one hand rested on top of his quickly rising and falling chest as he looked over at you.

With a shrug and a small smile, you moved to give him one last kiss before lying your head on top of his chest.  “Merry Christmas, babe,” you mumbled, letting a small laugh bounce out of your throat.

“Shh, guys! She’ll be here any minute, quit fooling around.” The tone in Mark’s voice was serious as he tried his best to calm the other members, who were much too excited about the events of that night.

“She’s here!” Jinyoung shouted from the window, quickly pulling the curtains shut and scurrying back toward the other members.

Mark’s heart rate quickened as he heard a car door slam through the silence that finally occupied the room, the other boys waiting with anticipation for the knock at the door.

It came in no time, everyone knowing that you must have ran up the driveway to get to the door as quickly as you did. Mark jumped up from the edge of his seat and hurried to the door, one hand on his heavy chest as he swung the door open.

Wrapping his arms around you as soon as you were in his line of vision, both you and Mark were instantly tackled by the other six boys, you laughing hysterically as Mark yelled for the boys to give you some space.

“It’s not like you gave her any space, either!” BamBam argued as he took a few steps backward, smiling in your direction.

Mark glared at him, and you grabbed his shoulder and shook it, hoping it would loosen him up a bit.

“I see that things haven’t changed a bit!” you said, smiling as each of the boys, whose excited eyes were all on you.

“Come sit down!” Jackson said, sliding himself onto the floor and scooting up to the table, inviting you to join him.

You followed all the other boys as they placed themselves around the table, Mark having to nudge his way through a few of them to get his spot next to you.

“Tell us about your school!” Yugyeom said, his palms smacking down onto the table as he leaned in and waited for you to begin speaking.

“Ah, but nothing about my school is exciting! Tell me about your guys’ tour...I’ve been waiting to hear all about it!” you said, clapping your hands together and looking expectantly around the table.

Surely, you got what you had asked for. The boys fought for your full attention as they yelled over each other in order to tell you their stories about the tour, obviously exaggerating them all too much just to impress you.

As all of this went on, you were sure to hold Mark’s hand under the table, knowing that he was probably ready to explode with jealousy. He should’ve learned after a while that the other boys had always wanted your attention as much as he did, but he had a hard time letting that sink in. So, you always had to try your best to make sure that you were giving him just a little more attention than the rest - without hurting the others’ feelings, of course.

But your efforts weren’t enough, and Mark made it known by suddenly standing up, pulling you to your feet with him.

“Alright, you guys have had enough. I’m sure [Y/N] is exhausted, so we’re heading to bed. You can see her in the morning, yeah?”

Without waiting for an answer or a reaction from the other boys, Mark squeezed your hand and pulled you across the room and down the hallway, shutting the door behind you both as soon as you made it into his dorm room.

“You didn’t have to do that, Mark. They just missed me, that’s all.”

“But I missed you, too.” Mark said, taking the few steps toward you, your back hitting the closed door as he lightly pressed himself up against you. “I just want you to myself - is that too much to ask?” he whispered, his voice husky as he breathed against your neck.

You shook your head, biting your lip to fight off the slightest bit of laughter that was threatening to escape your throat.

“I haven’t even gotten to kiss my girl yet, and you’ve been here for over an hour.” he said, lifting his head and cupping his hands around your face.

“Well then,” you said, letting a smirk spread across your lips. “what are you waiting for?”

“You got to tease me out there, so it’s only fair that I get to tease you back.” he said, his lips just centimeters from yours as he uttered the last words.

“Oh?” you smiled, not expected his lips to immediately crash into your mouth. Your hands found their way to his waist almost instantly, your fingers digging into the skin that you had missed so much.

“What happened to teasing me?” you asked as Mark released your lips from his to press his mouth to the skin on your neck.

“Sorry,” he whispered, lowering his face to press a light kiss on your collarbone. “I just couldn’t help myself.”

“I don’t blame you.” you replied as you worked together at pulling his shirt over his head. “These newly-developed dark circles under my eyes from spending the last few months studying in my dorm room must me unbelievably arousing, I can’t imagine the pain you’re putting yourself through by having not completely devoured me by now.” “Oh, trust me. It’s very painful.” he said, laughing as he hiked your legs up to wrap around his waist, moving you both across the room to the bed. Laying you down first, Mark proceeded to climb on top of you, immediately going back to the wonders he had been doing to your sensitive neck.

“You sure the boys will be okay, out there all by themselves?”

“Knowing them, they’re probably out there making bets on what we’re doing right now.” “Wouldn’t it be obvious, though? I mean, we haven’t seen each other in months, and you insistently dragged me to your room…”

“Well, sure. But boys will be boys. Especially those little punks.”

You nodded, your laughing being cut off by his lips crashing into yours once again. It didn’t take long for the comical atmosphere to be replaced by that of a more heated one, Mark not at all taking his time in stripping off the remaining layers of both of your clothes.

Your hands and lips roamed the skin of each other, eager to form new bruises on top of the ones that had had months to heal, making scratches and digging into the spots that had softened over the long amount of time you had been apart.

It didn’t take long for you to start - or finish. Before you knew it, Mark collapsed on top of you, both of you flushed and sweating and working to catch your breath.

“Mark?”

“Hm?”

“Don’t go back on tour.”

Mark shook his head against your shoulder. “You know I can’t do that.”

“I know.”

“[Y/N]?”

“Yes?”

“Don’t go back to school.”

“I can’t do that, either.” You let out a breathy laugh before the conversation took back its serious tone. “I just miss you so much."

“I know.” Mark adjusted himself so that he could face you, one hand reaching up to rest lightly on your cheek and make circles against your skin with his thumb. “We’ll figure something out.”

“Promise?”

Mark smiled, nodding his head. “I promise.”

But, maybe he had forgotten about you. Who would concern themselves with trying to remember their childhood friend when they were traveling around the world and becoming as successful as one could only dream to be? You didn't want to think it, but there was a possibility that he wouldn't even know your name when he saw you again that night, for the first time in years.

Your was chin rested on your folded arms, the hard wood of the windowsill making your elbows ache. You eyes gazed out the window and eagerly watched the street, your heart pounding with each car that passed by.

"You know we have that get-together with the neighbors today, right?" your mom asked, moving up behind you and placing her hands on your shoulders.

"Mm." you hummed, nodding your head. How could you have forgotten? You'd been thinking about it for weeks.

"Goodness, they must be so proud of their little boy. I'm proud to just be his neighbor!" your mom laughed, patting your shoulder before letting it go and walking away. "I'm sure Mark will be more than excited to see you again!"

Her words made you smile, your stomach fluttering at just the idea of it. You hoped more than anything that he would be happy to see you, that he hadn't forgotten about you.

But, maybe he had forgotten about you. Though your mind was more focused on reminiscing in old memories than watching the street, you could feel it in your gut when a car started to slow down as it passed your house that it was the one you had been waiting for.

Your head jolted up from its resting position, craning forward as much as it could to watch the car pull into the driveway next to yours. It pulled up far enough that it was out of your sight, so you weren't able to see when the people got out of the car and entered the house. That was okay, though - you'd see them soon.

  You shook with anticipation as your mother took her time slipping on her shoes, hurrying her as quickly as you could out the front door and across the lawn.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" your mother asked, laughing as you yanked at her hand. "You haven't seen him in years, don't tell me you can't wait five more minutes."

You pressed the back of your free hand against your suddenly flushed cheeks. Was it that obvious, how eager you were to see him?

"It's not-"

"Don't even try to fool me." your mother said, shaking her head at you as you both stopped at the steps of the porch. "I know you better than you know yourself."

"Yeah, yeah," you wave your hand at her. "you can save all the sappy talk for another time. Just go ring the doorbell, hm?"

Your mother stepped onto the porch, pressing her finger lightly against the button and waiting with both hands clutching the dish she had prepared.

You stood close behind her, peeking over her shoulder as the door creaked open, the happy face of your neighbor welcoming you both.

"I thought it would be you two! Come in, please!"

You followed your mother into the house, slipping your shoes off neatly at the door before letting your neighbor lead the way into the family room.

Feeling more nervous than you ever had in your entire life, you watched your feet as you entered the room and was careful not to look up. Your mother stopped walking and nudged you with her elbow, snapping your head up to look directly over her shoulder.

His back was turned to you, but you could still feel it in your gut that it was him. His mother was moving across the room to get his attention, and all the heat in your body rose to your face when you realized that she was going to bring him over to you.

He turned slowly (or maybe everything was just moving in slow motion), his soft face creasing as he smiled wide, making direct eye contact with you. Your mother grabbed your arm and pulled you forward to stand beside her as he made his way across the room, giving you a wink before leaving your side to head toward the kitchen.

Before you could object to her leaving you alone, Mark was already standing in front of you, his big eyes looking expectantly into yours.

Somehow, you managed a small "hello" and held out your hand. But Mark immediately shook his head.

"Come on, now. Don't you know me better than that? You think I'm gonna shake hands with my best friend?" Mark smiled, suddenly wrapping his arms around you and pulling you close to him.

You laughed into his shoulder, and in the back of your mind you wondered if he was holding the hug a moment longer than expected - but just as you thought that, he pulled away, and you forced the thought out of your mind.

"How have you-"

"Everyone, start taking seats at the table! Dinner's almost ready!" Mark's mother's voice rang from the kitchen, causing everyone to scramble through the doorway to the dining room.

Mark smiled sympathetically at you, shrugging his shoulders before motioning for you to follow him.

Dinner was loud and busy, everyone wanting to ask Mark as many questions as they could about the past couple years. You'd watch and listen intently as he smiled and answered each question perfectly, somehow finding a way to please everyone in the room with his words.

You were silent during the entire dinner, though - focused on thinking about what you had been planning for this particular day. Your nerves told you that you didn't have the guts to do it, but you knew that you had to get it out somehow.

Mark had noticed that there were other things on your mind besides the dinner, and he tapped your shin lightly with his foot from across the table, meeting your gaze and giving you a soft smile.

Your heart raced at just that small gesture, realizing that he was the same exact Mark that had left for Korea those years ago, that not one bit of him had changed.

As soon as it was announced that dinner was finished, everything became chaotic. Everyone stood up from their chairs at once, some lazily making their way back to the couches while others hurried to help clean the mess. In all the crowding and loud voices that file the room, Mark grabbed your hand and quickly pulled you out of the mess, leading you through the back doors and onto the porch.

Mark took a moment to catch his breath, laughing as he looked down at you.

"It's crazy in there, huh?" he said, shaking his head. "It's unbelievable, how many people actually care about me, hm?" Mark's eyes sparkled at the thought, exhaling contently.

"I missed you, Mark." you said suddenly, your lips released the words before you could even think them; and though you knew that you had wanted to say those words, you hadn't expected them at that moment.

Mark hadn't expected them, either. His eyes grew wide and his mouth hung slightly open for a moment. After processing the words, though, his eyes drooped and his expression softened.

"I missed you, too."

Your stomach lurched, your knees growing weak. You hadn't expected him to say those words back, and you had never been more relieved.

"You know, Mark...I have something I need to tell you-"

"I already know what it is." he interrupted, smirking proudly.

"Oh?"

Mark nodded. "I needed to tell you the same thing."

Before you could argue, tell him that he was probably misunderstanding, that he really had no idea what you were going to say - Mark leaned in, covering the few inches between you both and carefully pressing your lips together.

Mark pulled back after a moments, his hands resting on the sides of your face as he down at you.

"That was better than words, hm?"

Quietly, you tiptoed your way farther into the room, glancing cautiously all over. There was no way to know is your were in the clear yet...

"Got you!"

You wouldn't dare act upon them though. Mark continued laughing, holding you tight and hoisting you around and over his shoulder. Surprised by his actions, you blushed pink, playfully whining. "Let me down you big ape, I was trying to hide~" "No way," he playfully replied, "King Kong didn't let his girl down, so why should I?" If you hadn't been so in love with Mark's voice, the fact that he called you /his/ girl would have flown right over your head. "W-What?! Let me down Mark!" He dropped you like a sack of potatoes on the couch. You squealed, clinging right to his shirt as you fell from his hold. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), that brought him down with you. He grunted in surprise, arms falling out to catch him. That left you pinned beneath him, faces nearly inches apart. His brown eyes were wide in surprise, cheeks pooling with color. Yours must have been just as red as his. "S-Sorry-" "I like you." Both of you paused, embarrassed at his sudden words. His arms shook a little. "I didn't- I mean, uh..." He tried pulling away, to hide his embarrassment and turn away, but you held tight to the shirt between your fingers. "You... don't mean it?" Your voice was quiet and shaky. He swallowed, eyes staring into yours. "I... No, I meant it. I just don't want to ruin what we have..." "Well," you smiled, tugging him a bit closer, "what if I said the same thing to you? 'I like you.' How would you react?" He seemed to understand that you too had just confessed. "Then I would kiss you." "I like you too, Mark." He dove in, wrapping his arms around you. You smiled wider, tugging happily at his shirt. You knew this was better than any scenario you made in your head.

Squirming under Mark's wiggling fingers, you let out a screeching laugh, yelling out your protests between your fits of laughter.

Your best friend though, showed no signs of letting you off the hook. True, you had started this mini war when you had shamelessly tickled his sides on the couch, but he was the one who had rebutted full force.

Shoving his shoulder and rasping in air through your laughs, you whined his name, jerking your legs around while he straddled you. "I don't think so," he chided, "you started it, so I'll have to end it."

You squealed as he dove in again, aiming for your sensitive neck. You dodged to the best of your ability. That of course, included rolling, catching you both off guard and dumping you off the couch and onto the floor. The tumble down was less then graceful and somehow you ended up on his waist, his palms cupping your hips protectively. You let out a breathless laugh. "Oh man, tell me why we're having a sleepover again? I must of forgotten how childish you are!" He chuckled, sitting up and letting you stand up from his grasp. You stretched, oblivious to Mark as he stared at you with a soft grin. "Well, anyway," you continued, use to Mark not replying, "how does a movie sound? You can pick it. I'll go make some popcorn!" He nodded, watching you skip out of the living room to the kitchen, but not before sending him a cute smile. Mark swallowed, smile dropping. No matter how hard he tried to make you see his feelings with speaking verbally, you still seemed to be oblivious as ever. Was he not trying hard enough? He fidgeted as he thought before slumping with a sigh. "It's no use... She just doesn't like me," he muttered sourly. Halfway through the movie, you felt a weight on your shoulder, pulling you from your cinematic trance. Peering over, you gazed at Mark's soft lips, parted slightly as he slept. Heart strings pulled at the image and you sighed, grasping his hand as delicately as possible. "It seems that no matter what," you murmured, kissing his dark hair, "you can't see how much I love you, Mark." Settling more comfortably, you leaned your head onto his, eyes half lidded.
