Samantha Harper

✦     to learn about my character’s family

Lynn Willis,Samantha’s mother, she was the heart of the Willis family the one that kepteveryone together. Lynn was a school teacher who always helped others and putothers before her own needs. JoshuaWillis, Samantha’s father, he was the biggest influence in Samantha’s life.He was a detective and worked hard to keep his family safe. He was a kind andcaring man. Even though his work was what got his wife and him killed. LeavingSamantha and her twin brother alone at the age of four. Stephen Wilcox, Samantha’s twin brother. He is younger by fifteenminutes, they were separated in the system and he got adopted out to a goodfamily that changed his last name to Wilcox. Michael Harper, Samantha’s deceased husband, they met in college whileshe was working as a waitress and she got pregnant with their son her Sophomoreyear, the two were married after that. JoshuaHarper, Samantha’s son, her pride and joy. She would do anything for him,even if he’s and a bit of a rebellious teenager now.

Samantha didn’t have much of a childhood, her parentswere killed when she was four. So her twin brother, and herself went into thesystem. They got separated and he got adopted out, Samantha became a drifter inthe system. Going from foster home, to foster home never actually having a homeor much of a childhood. She never stayed in one place for too long, and whenshe did it wasn’t exactly the most happiest of foster placing.

Samantha graduated high school, with some honors and thenwent onto college going for Criminal Justice, following in her father’sfootsteps. After she had her son, she went into the Police Academy andgraduated from that with honors.

❤     to learn about my character’s past relationships

Samantha had a couple of hook ups in high school butnever anything serious. Her most serious relationship was with Michael Harper, her now deceasedhusband. He was the one person that actually showed Samantha how to love, andthat it was okay to let people even although she didn’t let him in fully. May Robinson, she was one of the firstwoman to break Samantha’s heart. She left and the two are only just nowstarting to reform their friendship.

Samantha usually wears blue jeans, and tee shirts with atank top underneath. Also she loves her red leather jacket, hell she loves allof her leather jackets. Sometimes during the winter, she can found wearing abeanie.

She likes to play pool, play video games with her son,hang out, go to the movies, going camping, fishing. Sometimes she will just sitand read a book as well.

Autophobia, she is afraidof being alone, especially after losing everyone that she loves.

Samantha usually listens to classic rock, but she alsolistens to whatever is on the radio. She likes knowing what her son islistening too, and also tries to be ‘hip’ to embarrass him.

Samantha actually enjoys reading, so her reading habitsare amazing, and she has an collection of books. Reading was the one thing thathelped her get through the foster homes that she was placed in. Sometimes shecan just sit down and read on the couch, sometimes she reads in bed or on theporch.

Sammy loves food, but she also doesn’t eat that wellespecially whenever she is busy on a case, sometimes she will skip a meal.

Jacob Blackwell,Dante’s father. They don’t exactly get along due to Dante always rebellingagainst him and the fact that Dante doesn’t like what his father stands for orthe people that he represents. LynnBlackwell, Dante’s little sister. He would do anything for her, even killher because she is the one person that he wants to protect. Jane Doe, Dante has no idea who hismother is due to the fact that his father paid her to leave Dante and Lynnbehind and never return.

Dante’s childhood was looking after his little sister,and being raised by the nanny while his father was off working. So the nannywas basically someone that Dante looked up too, and she helped him and allowedhim to be a kid.

Dante went to private schools, even got kicked out of onefor fighting. After his father threatened to send him to military school, Dantestraightened up his act and returned to private schools and graduated withflying colors. Then he went to Harvard University, were he graduated gettinghis degree to become a lawyer but he decided to teach instead and became a T.A.for his professor.

Dante had one serious relationship in high school, afterhe moved away to college they tried to the long distance but she ended upcheating on him. During college, he made the decision not to take anything tooseriously and just hooked up. Maddie Lambert, changed everything the minutethat she walked into his class. Even though he is her T.A., he still wants tobe with her and the two started a secret relationship with one another.

Dante likes to wear tee shirts, and jeans. But he canpull off a suit and fancy clothes if needed.

Running, reading, writing, arguing, debating, workingout, watching Netflix.

Stenophobia, he doesn’tlike narrow spaces at all.

Dante listens to nowadays music, but he enjoys more rockif anything.

He has a healthy reading collection, and he readswhenever he possible can and where ever he possible can.

Dante loves food, so he eats as much as possible. Eatingthree meals a day and some snacks in between but everything must be healthyfood for him cause he likes to take care of his body.

falls asleep on the couch: Maddie, and then Dante comes and finds her on the couch and carries her to bed.

makes friends with the neighbors: Dante, he can be a really friendly guy to their neighbors.

is the adventurous eater: Maddie, her love for food makes her try weird things and Dante laughs at her about.

hogs the covers at night: Maddie, but then Dante just usually cuddles up close to her to keep warm. 

forgets to do the dishes: Dante, he is terrible when it comes to doing the dishes.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Dante, he does his best to keep the surprises coming to Maddie.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Both, between work outs and releasing tension clothes just go everywhere.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Both, they both can stay up reading till 2am or even later.

sings in the shower: Maddie, and Dante laughs at her cause he finds it sweet and adorable.

takes the selfies: Both, cause if their relationship, they snap selfies all the time and sending them to each other.

plans date night: Dante, because he wants to actually have a Dante night with her.

Samantha & Caitlin:

falls asleep on the couch: Samantha, while reading over case files and then Cait wakes her up to get into bed.

makes friends with the neighbors: Caitlin, she is more friendly and less threatening than Sammy.

is the adventurous eater: Samantha, she can eat anything and everything even though Cait advises against it.

hogs the covers at night: Probably Cait or well use to before she got use to sleeping next to Samantha.

forgets to do the dishes: Samantha, she is horrible with remembering to wash the dishes even after Cait tells her time and time again.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Samantha, she works long hours so she does everything that she possibly can to surprise Cait.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Samantha, she doesn’t even bother picking them up till she needs clean clothes.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Caitlin, and then Samantha has to close the book and make her cuddle with her.

sings in the shower: Both, especially when they think they are alone.

takes the selfies: Cait, she takes more selfies then what Samantha does.

plans date night: Both, they both plan date night.

Tristan & Adele:

falls asleep on the couch: Tristan, cause he is usually high and then Adele has to wake him up and get him into bed.

makes friends with the neighbors: Adele, she would probably bring them bake goods.

is the adventurous eater: Tristan, due to the munchies probably but I can also see Adele as an adventurous eater.

hogs the covers at night: Adele, and then Tristan cuddles her.

forgets to do the dishes: Tristan, he hates housework.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Adele, even though Tristan should be doing this. Its all Adele.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Tristan, again he hates doing housework.

sings in the shower: Adele, and then Tristan makes fun of her for it.

takes the selfies: Adele, Tristan doesn’t mind selfies just doesn’t do them often.

plans date night: Tristan especially when he is trying to make something up to Adele.

Adrian & Adele:

falls asleep on the couch: Adele, and then Adrian comes out and carries her to bed.

makes friends with the neighbors: Both, considering they both are friendly people.

is the adventurous eater: Again both, cause I see them as loving food.

forgets to do the dishes: Adrian, sometimes he is bad at remembering to do the dishes.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Adrian, he does his best to surprise Adele as often as he can.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Adrian, sometimes he just takes his clothes and where ever they land, is were they stay.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Both, since they both love to read.

sings in the shower: Adrian, he is really bad at it but Adele makes him laugh about it.

takes the selfies: Both, they both take a lot of selfies. 

plans date night: Adrian, he likes planning a date night for them both.

Brielle & Adele:

falls asleep on the couch: Adele, waiting for Bri to come and once she gets there, she wakes her up and they go to bed together.

makes friends with the neighbors: Adele, again she would probably bake them cookies. 

is the adventurous eater: Brielle, she loves food way more then Adele but Adele joins her in the adventurous eating. 

hogs the covers at night: Brielle, which makes Adele cuddle her at night.

forgets to do the dishes: Brielle, she gets busy with her jobs and school that she forgets to do the dishes.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Both, they both like to surprise each other as much as possible.
