Heli-critter re-draw and original
This is from 2022, it took three hours to draw, whereas the other Dolphin (red one) was almost eleven hours. Gave it some weird bird wings. It’s a CH-148 Cyclone. I saw one hovering above a park a few years ago when I was in high school and that’s what made me want to draw one as a critter. I’ve never seen one since for whatever reason. I’m gonna go back through my old, embarrassing art and try to find the original drawing.

I can’t find it what the hell
OMG I FOUND LOOK HOW BAD IT IS AAAAAHHHH
This one’s anatomy was more inspired by a bear than avian, unlike its re-draw. I think it’s from 2019. A lot of my stuff from 2019 looked like this. Just awful.
Wait no this one’s actually one of my better drawings from that time. The other stuff is hideous.
But uhh anyways I don’t have much lore or anything for these creatures because I just find it very difficult to come up with anything that could work. There’s two questions I’m stuck at: what makes them better then ordinary machines? And why would it need to exist?
I just like to draw them on the odd occasion because it’s fun, so most of my drawings of these things are really old and pretty bad looking. But maybe I’ll post some of the nicer looking ones someday. If I can find any. No not all of these things are choppers, but I just find jet wings awkward to draw as actual creature wings, so that’s why most of them are. I do have some old jet critter drawings from around the same time as the original Cyclone. Eventually I want to attempt drawing a plane as one, maybe a Hawkeye. But no promises.
