Flynn stared at her for a moment as he tried to make sense of her words. It’s not that he didn’t understand, they’ve always had that unspoken vow. Hearing it in words caught him off guard and left him...feeling. He wasn’t sure what he was feeling nor could he put it into words, but it was good. That he did know.
He chuckled, wiping a finger across his nose trying to wipe away his faint smile. “That might be the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me. “ He let it show, only for a second before it turned into his usual smirk. “We both know you’d haunt me if you died and go full poltergeist on a fucker.”
Jokes aside it meant the world to him; she meant the world to him. He didn’t have much in the way of family or people who really meant anything to him. She is all of that. He couldn’t have picked a better one. “You know same goes for you, right?”
