It’s not difficult to see that the smooth cooperation of the Groggy Monsters is meant to contrast with the disaster that is Zoro and Sanji together in the same room

But what’s funny to me is that the two of them don’t actually learn anything. This is basically the setup for every Saturday morning cartoon ever, and after compromising for literally 10 seconds they go back to being constantly at each other’s throat.

It does show the power of the Straw Hats when they’re at their best, though. As Nami tells Iceburg much later in Water 7, when the crew isn’t dragged by doubt and infighting they’re pretty much unstoppable
