I like the framing of Sengoku in the first panel. He's portrayed as being this scrub's literal superior officer, standing way above him while shouting orders. This whole chapter has been about Sengoku's big plan coming together to put Whitebeard and his allies on the ropes, and so far it's been working brilliantly.
And then Buggy happened
I don't think Izou knows Luffy's name
I think this might is the best volume cover in the series. The composition and colors are on point, and it's not too busy like many of Oda's covers tend to be
Remember, the Pacifistas cost about the same as a warship, so if they're able to outperform them in battle that's a pretty good tradeoff. No great for the marines still on board, but what are you gonna do?
And imagine how crazy this must seem to the world watching the broadcast. Remember, most of the setting is strictly age of sail tech. The reader has been eased into devil fruit and robot craziness, but think about how characters like Genzo and Kaya out in the East Blue would react to this? They have absolutely no frame of reference for the massive jump in technology. I think it would legitimately break someone's brain trying to comprehend what's going on.
Whitebeard looks so nonplussed at having been stabbed. Really, he should have known something was up when Squard came rocking that giant sword with his regular sword still at his hip
The reporters at Sabaody have called in "big news" like half a dozen times already, and while there is a lot going on I'm starting to think Morgans requires his reporters to say that every time something even remotely interesting happens
