Seamus was leaning back against one of the porch railings, talking to Graeme, when he found out about the movie. He nearly fell over the side, then and there, cursing up a storm. Were they serious? Did they not realize the genuine harm a movie could cause, not only to the actors but the town?
Not to mention the harm the town could cause the film crew. And, to be frank, Seamus moved out to the farmlands to get away from people, not invite more of them in.
Which is why he was reinforcing his fences, now, early-ish hour bedamned. Nick was gone, out at Isaac's, or asleep so deeply that he couldn't be moved. No one was close enough to bother.
....well, not unless you counted the doctor currently stomping his way across the grass.
Seamus pauses, draping his arms over the fence line, and waits until Paul is close enough to hear him. Nova has already rushed through the fence to greet him, the little traitor, but Maeve still sits beside him, though her tail is wagging so strongly it's bent the grass.
"Didn't mean tah wake ye, if I did. Jus' fixin' some posts." Seamus waits a momemt before strsightening from his half-crouch, everything popping and his ignoring it. Then: "Ye hear about th' movie?"

‘ello stranger! How is it going? It's been a while since the last time you gave me the honor of your presence, huh? By the way, have you ever heard that a friendship needs at least two people? Crazy, huh?

The sound of a person poorly strumming a guitar was the direct root cause of the smile currently plastered onto Doc’s face with a strange amount of joy. Rarely did any parent enjoy the noise, but for him, it represented everything that he and Mary had been able to accomplish. Against all odds, they were alive, and real, and upstairs was the embodiment of that dedication.
These days, Doc often found himself slipping into bouts of nostalgia, outlined in carefully crafted sadness. Even the name Creevey, whenever it was spoken back to him out loud, often stirred up a feeling of both victory and defeat. They had survived at a cost.
“We should be happy it wasn’t drums,” Doc declared as he watched Mary make her way into the living room, his feet propped up on the coffee table. The hour was late, with crickets outside the open window singing off-key, yet oddly in time, with the guitar upstairs. “Or maybe we should just get the drums while we’re at it.” The neighbors were already a little too interested in them. Might as well give them something to complain about.

Good morning, Dearborn. Hope you are well..
Mr Whisp asked for some updates on that report you and your team are working on. Do you have any news? Or maybe a deadline?
@crdcdrbrn
Hey, Dearborn! Senta aí, fica para um café. I bet you have nothing so important to do at international magical office of law that cannot wait for a cup of coffee, huh?

Hey Doc, long time no see, uh? I didn’t see you in the last, hm, 5 events. Are you so busy with work these days? But that is okay, we have a lot to catch up, I can tell you about everything that happens, but don’t worry, I will spare the boring details.
You look good, by the way. Have you been working out?
