You clapped along with everyone else that filled the auditorium, praising the actors as the first act came to a close. You looked over at your "date" for the evening (he wasn't really but everytime you called it that he would get all red so you mentioned it as much as possible) bumping him with your elbow. "C'mon baby, don't be rude." Kevin's face flushed at the pet name as he shyly clapped for a few seconds. You pouted up at the boy, patting the empty seat beside you. "Sit down, enjoy the show with me. You don't have to be so tense all the time." His eyes darted around the theatre once more, being able to see almost everyone from your box. "I'm sorry mi-" he stopped himself when he saw the glance you threw his way. "-(y/n), but my job is to keep you safe and I can't really do that if I'm not paying attention." You huffed again before deciding to just grab his arm and yank him down next to you. "And I came out here to have fun, which I can't really do if you're gonna be so uptight the entire night." He sighed before turning to the stage, relaxing in his seat.

Maybe he could relax for a few minutes.
