ok finally did @forcekenobi’s temper template and i got a bit carried away and put SO much thought into where people r and lore is under the cut because i have feelings.

Alphonse — Sweet boy doesn’t lose his temper often but history well he does, he Yells, and he’s a Tall, Broad, Former soldier so it IS pretty intimidating.

Baldur — Little Petulant Magic Brat. Hates not getting his way and will pitch a fit and isn’t physically intimidating. 

Cassiopeia — Cass is babey. She’s very curious and very passionate and gets frustrated and upset when people can’t understand her!

Dilon — dilon’s just scary in general, her losing her temper doesn’t really amp it up. the type of scary that’s more intimidating when it’s calm anger.

Elisheva — sorta the same as above but more a bit prone to getting pissy

Fay’rel — Fire Breathing Scaled Tiefling Whose Entire Concept Is Based Around Being Terrifying, Monstrous, and  A N G R Y 

Giloreyn — sweet mans! very gentle and patient, even when upset he doesn’t really have the HEART to be mean.

Kenna — the whole ass concept of her rage is that when she actually GETS angry and rages she angry-cries and her hair sparkes and she exhales smoke and really just, burns until there’s literally nothing left. so yea. pretty scary when it happens.

Lior — sweet mans part ii! same sort of deal as gil, just a bit more patient and more willing to be blunt and lay it out

Nike — Shorter Temper and Pretty Fuckin Terrifying, a very renowned assassin and war legend. 

Ophelia — Has a pretty long fuse but is also Sullen Pissy Vampire. Fangs and Glowing Red Eyes.

Rishta — Doesn’t get angry often and is more the like... Calm Anger is Scarier as well. But also she can’t YELL and she’s not extremely physically intimidating so it’s just sorta like, watching a mouse try to get pissed.

Rowan — Doesn’t get angry but when she does she’s stern. It’s like disappointing your dad. It’s not a good time for anyone.

Saga — saga a. has a really short fuse and b. is Absolutely Terrifying in the way she will use her power to intimidate. 

Verena — doesn’t get very angry and is only like, average intimidating when mad. she’s more intimidating when she’s casting tbh.

idk what to title this but i’m just gunna drop some siblings that aren’t really siblings anymore here because i’m mclosing it i love them...

In some ways, it was like looking in a mirror. The two surviving Zaturas had the same chiseled, facial features. Slim noses, sharp jaws, and deep-set piercing eyes. The only difference is that Rishta's hair was fair red, skin blooming with freckles.

They studied each other, unsure of what to say. Each one calculating the other in the exact same way. It was as if there was a sheet of ice between them. Ferro was still underwater, lips blue and cold, drowning under frigid water while Rishta looked down from the surface.

"I watched you die." He spoke first; the memory of a knife across a throat cut the quiet.

She blinked, "Yes."

There was silence. They went back to analyzing each other, unsure of where they stood. Were they siblings? As far as he knew Rishta had found a new family, aunts and mothers in the city rife with crime. And he had Rosha and the mercenaries. What he knew of his sister is that she was dangerous, smart, and made just as much of a weapon as he had been. They were both survivors. Rishta more than him. In some ways he was envious of what she had been given; she was graced by a god.

"Do you remember when we were young?" She spoke, "When Daevan made us play hide and seek with him. You always hid in the same spot, under Father's chess table in the library. And the one time I tried to get you to hide with me-"

"-I complained about the thorns." Ferro finished somberly.

They were not siblings anymore. Rishta looked at him and he saw the same thought cross her face. They were practically strangers. Growing up in their glass house with their fractured, cold parents was never much of a childhood anyway. They were just two children, bonded through their desire to shrink and comply.

"I'll," Ferro fumbled, "I'll see you again someday?"

Rishta smiled, lips thin and taut like a blade, "I'd like that."

let it be known that if canon in the mistralverse wasn’t that rishta got a nat20 on a third level inflict wounds upcasted by her sanguine sorcerery to deal over 100 points of necrotic damage to arclight, killing her instantly and turning her to chicken salad canon should have been rosha rolling up and CURBSTOMPING her and her bitch ass dragon.

which one has more insecurities? over what?

hm, rishta isn’t really insecure so my guess is perhaps arte? although i can’t really do more but theorize on that.

is there something big that could potentially tear them apart if it was revealed?

i mean arte knOWs everything about rishta that there is to know between all of her identities in life. And I don’t think there’s anything arte could have done that if revealed would be irreprehensible to rishta. they’re both survivors, they both are veterans of the war; they’ve both done horrible things but are trying to make the country a better place.

do either of them have a special item (an article of clothing, a necklace, a book) that they use when they miss the other? if so, what is it? what do they do with it (read, wear, look at, smell)?

arte with a stupid plate of “goodbye” scones every time rishta goes away for work, as if that would substitute for her company. (they are tasty though)

rishta probs has a piece of artemesia’s jewelry, maybe an heirloom ring that’s worth more than her *dead) father’s (now nonexistent) fortune two times over, but to her it’s just a token of affection.

what scent reminds them of the other?

rishta smells like old books, flour, and tea on a good day. on a bad day she smells like rust and blood.

arte probs has a fancy perfumes?? so that but maybe somethin’ like sandalwood. idk she’s ur girl! you pick!

there’s no dynamic quite like siblings who have never been siblings in any true sense beyond blood relationship meeting each other 15 years later and recognizing the same familial expressions and behavior in each other but also barely recognizing who the other person and knowing in their heart’s you’re not family but i might like you to be.
