Most of her side was blood-soaked bandages and gauze before the witch had arrived and started her work. Hael had drifted off deep in thought as needle pulled back together skin and familiar words of magic were whispered over her. She'd felt terrible of course for inconveniencing the vampire in his own home but she'd already pulled him into her hunt a few days prior. The demi-god had inadvertently mistaken him for the creature she was supposed to be hunting which later ended up being a Strix. the flesh-hungry bird had carved her up worse then anything had in a long time, which was the reason she was here now. Throwing back the shot nectar and square of ambrosia she still had on her she thanked the woman before inspecting her work. They ended up burning the blood-soaked rags and leaving a window open to air out the room so as not to further torture the poor man who brought her there.
"You can come in now." She groaned as she pulled down her top and turned away from the mirror. "I didn't think vampires and witches liked each other very much. But I suppose I've been wrong before. Thank you, and I apologize for falsely accusing you. I was wrong for that."
