While I love Cha Eui-jae and Lee Sa-young's relationship as of late in the novel (= will lose their mind if they're separated for more than a minute), I sometimes miss how dramatic they were at the beginning. Peak ""romantic"" comedy.

Lee Sa-young was, like, openly and unabashedly flirting with literal ✨Shalala✨ effects for emphasis.

And then there was Cha Eui-jae whose immediate geezer-like response was :

I was reading a translation of "the hunter's gonna lay low" and I'm just love how the regulars of the hangover soup are such a found family to cha eui-jae, like the grandma and the little girl are his choose family too, but the regulars just love so much cha eui-jae that they don't care about anything that isn't he doing well.

I keep smiling anytime they do something to make him notice that they care. I love them all SO much.
