doing magic yes, holding a sword no <3
13. what helps them fall asleep when they’re having trouble doing so?
i’m gonna regret saying this but her girlfriend humming i think. like alita’s the Good Singer of the two of them but victoria will just kind of hold alita and hum her to sleep when she has nightmares, and alita does the same for her. in the absence of that, she focuses on rhythms and songs and patterns in her own mind. just something familiar and steady to keep her from spiraling into worries or memories.
35. do they sing with their head voice or their chest voice?
chest voice. she’s a deep alto i think. she’s got more range than i do irl (playing a bard, the fantasy of being actually musically gifted) and CAN sing well in her head voice but she naturally settles into something low and steady and rich and felt with her whole soul
1. what kind of clothing does your character like to wear? do they have a style? anything they avoid wearing?
OH for me to know anything about or have any feelings about clothing--
ummm okay so she likes stuff that’s loose and that she can move in and that’s long-sleeved. prefers pants to a skirt but will wear a skirt if the situation comes to it. pockets a necessity. prefers to have a coat. if she were to go to a ball she’d wear dark green, either a tight dress with a low back or a fitted suit depending on what the situation called for
modern au she wears cuffed jeans and converse/combat boots and leather/denim jackets <3
3. is your character more articulate in their thoughts than their words? if yes, do they do anything about that? do they care?
tbh? no. she’s very good at vocalizing exactly what she wants to say (pbp, the fantasy of being high cha and able to say what you mean). the problem, if there is one, is not knowing what to say. she’s more honest in her thoughts than her words, though, for sure.
37. how would they pass the time on a train?
thinking!!!! she is Very good at getting caught up in her own thoughts, sometimes dangerously so. also reading! she loves to read i think, and hasn’t had much chance to in her life so she relishes it when she has it.
7. how would they react to eating something that was spicier than they expected it to be?
sdklfjslkdjf i LOVE this for her. her whole face would wrinkle up. she’d try to play it cool and ABSOLUTELY fail. might accidentally show her little wolf fangs if it was spicy enough and took her off guard enough.
34. what’s the first thing they think when they hear an alarm? what’s the first thing they do?
hides! first instinct is to become Unseen. she ducks behind whatever’s nearest, nocks an arrow, and looks around for the source of the threat.
4. would your character sing along to a vaguely familiar song, even if they messed up the lyrics as they went?
yes!!! yes ABSOLUTELY. absolutely!!!!
38. do they bother to clean ink/chalk/gunpowder/etc off of their fingers? are they likely to forget it’s there and smudge their nose?
mmmm yes i think so. she’s not prone to forget, although it’s entirely possible she’ll get distracted by something and consider cleaning herself off lower priority. but generally she’s Aware of her surroundings
41. what’s the silliest thing they’ve used magic to do? if they don’t have magic, what’s something silly they’d use it for if they did?
oh she used to do SO much silly stuff with magic to make amos laugh. this is a hard question for me personally bc i’m bad at shenanigans but like. using create water to make it rain just for fun :]
