Since Obanai is afraid of doors to rooms being closed, does his bedroom door have to be open at night? And does it annoy the other kids (Sanemi) that the door has to be open?

( they compromise. they leave the door closed, but they have someone guarding the door, whether that be a stuffed animal or one of the Kamaboko squad members. Urokodaki and Shinjuro will also stand guard whenever they’re visiting and staying overnight !!

it annoyed certain children at first, mainly Shinobu, Sanemi, and Tengen. but they quickly realized it was a genuine fear for Obanai. they brought it up to Gyomei, who brought it up with their “babysitters,” and it was ultimately Tanjiro and Senjuro who found a solution

once they enter the story, Chachamaru will be a good kitty and stand guard all night long )

So it's canon that animals can turn into demons with Chachamaru as a living proof, only that Muzan probably never thought of so/didn't think it's worth it

I am saying like. The concept is not canonly elaborated. We should exploit it of sort.

Tamayo and Yushiro are the only ones who figure out how to turn animals into demons. They could've built an army of demonized crowds with supernatural abilities. Demon dogs for extra protection. Find an animal, tame it, befriend, turn it into a demon and BOOM. An ally.

If time wasn't rushed and they made use of the discovery earlier, Tamayo and Yushiro can pose as thrice as threat for Muzan.
