Just a few days ago, Yonghwa had been talking to Dara and had confided in her, that he knew Chaerin was looking incredibly stressed out when they had been skyping. Right now, Chaerin was back in LA, while he was back in SK with the twins. And unfortunately he was tied down with his work and just couldn’t find enough time to go and visit Chaerin. So he had asked Dara, but Dara had a few jobs lined up as well. 

Well, whenever Dara told him about it, Jun thought about it for for a short while and then figured he had a few days room and could hop on a plane to go and check up on her. Of course, they weren’t the closest of friends, but still close enough for him to consider her as a part of his family. So if he could help out, he would. Besides, he was used to a lot of stress and knew a trick, or two to get someone to relax.

So, here he was now. In LA, spending some time with Chaerin. With help of Yonghwa, he had managed to take her completely by surprise and have her schedule be cleared for the day. 

Jun had a pretty neat itinerary to blow off some steam and then relax after. So after a nice breakfast, he had taken Chaerin to go boxing (and boy, she sure could hit hard, much to his surprise), then to the spa (which included a nice sauna visit and massage) and afterwards out to dinner. 

To end the day, Jun didn’t really have much planned. The only thing left he wanted to do, was to take a walk. Being in LA, it wasn’t a problem for neither him, nor Chaerin. Of course, at first Chaerin at looked at him with a hint of scepticism and a ‘are you serious?’ look. But he had just smiled and shrugged his shoulders with a ‘You’d be surprised how a simple walk can help clear out your head’. 

Being in LA, Jun was adamant to take the walk along the beach, given that he loved the beach and ocean and absolutely loved the calming sounds of the waves and the smell of the sea. 

They had been walking and talking for about an hour, when they decided to sit down on a bench beneath a palm tree. It was dark by now and the sky was illuminated by nothing, but countless stars. A while back, Jun had told Chaerin that sometimes, of you paid a lot of attention, you could see a satellite move along the stars. 

So now, Chaerin was pointing out one star after another, asking if it was a satellite. “Nope, that’s not a satellite either, just a normal star,” Jun chuckled with a roll of his eyes, when she was pointing at one yet again. “Oppa. Stop messing with me. You said I could see a satellite if I paid close enough attention. I’m paying attention and I’m still not right.” Crossing her arms in front of her Chest, Jun got a pout from Chaerin and he couldn’t help but snort at it. 

“Yeah, but you can’t just point at random stars and claim they’re satellites. You have to sit back, watch the stars and pay close attention. If you’re lucky, you’ll see one of them move halfway across the sky. That’s a satellite.”

“Fwine.”

Chaerin was still busy pouting, when Jun finally spotted one and quickly pointed up at the sky. “There!” Her pout disappeared and her head shot up. “Where? Where is it?” Of course, it was rather difficult telling someone where exactly something was on a bif of a canvas as the sky. “Right there..” 

After a few tries, and right before it stopped moving, Chaerin finally spotted it. “I found it! Hah! I saw a satellite!”

[sms] Because that’s what I intend to have my kids call their other grandpa. Heh <3 Oh, I’m just here in Seoul. I decided to take off from everything and be a full-time mom. For now at least.
