what do u think chishiya would be like after the borderlands?

✧ he is so much softer than he once was. crying at stupid chick flicks was not something the chishiya shuntaro would ever do prior to borderlands, but now he was much more open about his emotions. whatever you do, do not put on everything, everywhere, all at once while he's around. he will become a sobbing mess.

✧ wants someone who fills the void. after returning to the real world, he's come to realize how empty his life feels. chishiya just wants someone to hold him and tell him that he's worthy of love.

✧ chishiya loves affection. for some reason unbeknownst to him, he loved the idea of it now. holding hands, forehead kisses, everything.

✧ he is still very much an intellectual and a people watcher. however, he's more outspoken and wants to make memories he's fond of.

✧ once recovering and being released from the hospital, he definitely quit his job and went on a year long spiritual journey. not necessarily that of religious context, but just to find himself. chishiya knew that before the incident in shibuya, he was a cold-hearted prick. he didn't want to go back to his old self anymore.

✧ after his soul-searching, he returned back to the medical field and specialized in pediatrics. he worked with lawyers to help keep big hospitals from doing things in favor of money or status, and instead based on patient's needs and priority of care.

✧ chishiya became a medical director for a pediatric hospital. i just know it.

✧ he definitely has a craving for cookies all of the time. there's not a moment he leaves the house without a bag of cookies. he also keeps an extra pack in his car in case he's running late. (yes, he is getting the kageyama milk treatment for cookies. idc)

✧ chishiya and kuina definitely met again in the hospital after the incident and clicked immediately. it was like they knew each other for ages. he became part of her family and helped her mend things with her father, short of nearly kicking his ass drunk one night but knowing he'd lose with his lack of fighting expertise.
