             IT’S ALMOST TOO EASY to be lulled back into that sense of comfort that seems to somehow capture her whenever he’s near  .  .  .  which, in their line of work, can prove to be FATAL.   even so, she cannot fight off the slight curve of a smile, the way her fingers tend to gravitate towards him  -----  a touch here, there the back of her hand shakes away the dust from his jacket.    sundown finds her reclining against his table, fingers toying with the various papers haphazardly shattered around.           “  relax, nate  .  .  .  ”    eyes twinkle with the promise of exactly HOW she’s willing to help him achieve the state of relaxation,  but she makes no further move on it.    “  you’ll live longer.  ”                 /         @chaied
