An old SKD prompt (”Chaimpaign”), in which I attempted to be clever.
Dhoti Pant Gold and Pleats and Humble. Originating from traditional Indian male attire, the dhoti has not yet lost it’s charm. It’s back with a bang with edgy patterns and pleats. This champagne coloured dhoti from Palanquine is perfectly pleated and is the perfect length. The pleats add volume and shape to your outfit. I would wear this with a crop top for a more western brunch look. But I think a champagne coloured dhoti is perfect for a more modern Indian look. I paired my dhoti pants with this beautiful, royal velvet saree blouse to give it a "crop top and pants" kind of feel. I think this look is perfect for the upcoming festive season.
