Fuck yeah it is, it be real cute! It’s got some pretty cool songs that’ll get all stuck up in ya pan. The story be real interesting too cause it be about aliens living among humans an like learning about the world, so it be something I can kinna relate to myself (maybe you could too). It be real engaging though, lotsa action an like sometimes a bit heavier themes, romance, uh comedy, sometimes it’ll make ya cry a little. It’s real worth it.

It started with a dream bubble.
He saw himself, dead. He got his story, as he often did from the ghosts of dream bubbles. They hadn’t lost their novelty to him yet. They were people, after all. Sometimes it felt like he had to make it up to Davesprite, for treating him like a fake Dave.
“Oh, it was a heroic death, I guess. It was for Karkat.”
“Oh no! When was Karkat going to die?”
“Gamzee tried to kill him.”
“...On the meteor?”
“Oh, no, it was on Jade’s land. He was dressed in his silly god tier garb. It was a pretty goofy person to die to, honestly.”
John felt himself go cold, though probably not as cold as his dead alternate. Gamzee, on LOFAF? With no John around to retcon everything? The more information he got out of himself, the more he was sure, and it all lead to one question.
“You mean there’s a Karkat out there all alone?”
It took a lot of concentrated dreaming, which was harder than it sounded, because John could never seem to sleep when he wanted to. His powers to zap wherever he wanted to helped, he had to admit. Eventually, though, he managed to find the coordinates. From what he found out, that Karkat was still alive, and he really was all alone. Somebody needed to find him, even if he had to spend years searching. It gave him a mission and a purpose. Karkat was one of his best friends. If he could help, he wanted to. Besides, he felt sort of guilty; it was kind of his fault, for going and dying.
He was in a dark room when John transportalized in. He was hunched over a keyboard, backlit by the computer’s glow. His back was to John, but John could tell a Karkat from a mile away. His hair shone raven-black in the eerie light of the monitor.
John smiled.
“Hi Karkat!”
