when I started writing this accidentally wrote it for megumi instead of denji..... BUT DW I DID THE DENJI ONE!! HERES YOUR DRABBLE ML! I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON

‧₊˚🌸༉‧₊˚. Denji taking care of reader on their period !!

boyfriend!denji who panics a little at first — not because he’s grossed out, but because he has no idea what to do. he’s standing there like, “uh… do you need, like… hospital help??”

boyfriend!denji who sprints to the store after you tell him no — and comes back with half the snack aisle, two heating pads, three random drinks, and probably the wrong kind of pads.

“I didn’t know which ones, so I just got, uh... the prettiest ones..."

you laugh, even though you’re in a shit ton of pain, and he looks stupidly proud of himself.

boyfriend!denji who insists on doing everything. making sure you’ve eaten (even if it’s just instant noodles), refilling your hot water bottle, and trying to tuck you into the couch like you’re some kind of patient in a medical drama.

boyfriend!denji who sits next to you, pretending to watch TV, but he keeps glancing over every few minutes.

“you sure you don't need anything...? Super super sure?”

“denji, no. you've asked me the same questions twelve times in the last six minutes and every time my answers been the same.”

“yeah, okay. just checking.”

boyfriend!denji who lets you lay your head in his lap and starts running his hand through your hair because he saw someone do that in a movie once — and when you sigh and melt a little, he gets this soft, dumb smile on his face.

boyfriend!denji who whispers, like it’s a secret,

“...you can tell me if you need anything, okay? i’ll get it for you.”

and even though he’s a little awkward and definitely overcompensating, it’s kind of perfect — the way he stays right there, warmth and comfort wrapped up in messy hair and a heart that’s trying so hard to love you right.

Name a better time of year that is made for staying up late baking cookies with denji and power, besides Christmas.

Thanksgiving is celebrated differently in Japan, so it was a culture shock for all three of you to hear about the different traditions but the duo was more then happy to help you feel less homesick.

Denji was the most excited when he heard that you wanted to bake cookies, power was close to being more excited but denji practically rushed you and power out of the door to buy the ingredients needed. You listed all the different types of cookies you could bake while walking to the store. Sugar cookies, Peanut Butter cookies, Chocolate chip cookies, as the list went on power and denji both argued about which type to bake.

Ultimately you had to make an agreement to bake both the sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies for the both to end their bickering.

After an hour of dragging the duo between different isles and saying no to anything that was unnecessary, you finally got the much needed ingredients and walked back home.

preheating the oven and looking up a recipe on your phone you started to get out different bowls and started by mixing the dry ingredients into a clean bowl. Adding baking soda and cocoa powder.

Looking away for what seemed like just 2 seconds to read the next ingredient all you hear is "Look at this power!" And the sound of a metal bowl getting dropped on the table and rolling around. Looking back all you see is both denji and power both covered in the baking soda. If it wasn't so funny seeing the look of utter shock and them trying to hold back their laugher, you'd have been more upset with them.

After a much needed clean up and shower, you started over with mixing reverting again. Adding eggs, butter and water just as the instructions listed. Mixing together until the dough formed. Letting power add the chocolate chips and sugar into the cookies, and letting denji put the cookies onto the pan, you plopped them into the oven, setting a timer and waited.

It was a bit surprising to see power and denji so interested in watching the cookies bake but it was cute, so you weren't one to complain. After many cries, complaints and pictures of the duo waiting, the timer went off and the cookies were set on the top of the stove to cool off. After another eternity in denji's eyes all, three of you grabbed a cookie and happily took a bite.

It took a bit of resistance to tell them no more cookies after letting them eat three, and seeing how they pouted but ultimately they quickly forgave you when you turned on a movie and cuddled with them both until they fell asleep.
