Termina was Hyrule before Demise

I know that's a crazy out there sentence but hear me out.

Its been confirmed that the Termina we explore in Majora's Mask was an illusion created by Majora/Skull Kid. But most of the fandom didn't like that since Termina had a lot of good world building and unique characters that it felt like Majora still won after defeating it.

But consider. It was just the Termina we saw in MM that was an illusion and it was based on a real place. Or should I say time. Termina was the land of Hyrule before the ancient war between Hylia and Demise. It explains why there are unique characters and so much lore and world building in an illusion. It was based on Majora's memories of Hyrule with some of Link's and Skull Kid's thrown in.

Idk what to do with this theory (besides put in in my own zelda au) but omg this changes my whole perspective on MM.

Hc that Sky doesn't tend to get many scars from wood carving bc sun would always patch it up and kept any from becoming scars, except for one cut he got the night before the start of the game and sun couldn't keep it from scarring :))

Do you guys know about system!time?? How his brain couldn't develop bc of the sleep in the temple of time?? And how he couldn't develop fully after that bc it was too dangerous?? Or how each transformation mask in MM has a profound effect on him that they became a literally part of him?? And how his self doubt gained the voice of the fierce Deity and his intrusive thoughts got the voice of majora?? Do you know????

Thinking about rito culture again,,, like, every rito in botw rito village has a family. And the families are like nuclear family type deal, with a mom, a dad, and some kids (typically 1, however Kass is an exception). And how revali didn't seem to have that? He was reveried as a hero, but no one brags about being his descendent or related to him. The only times people talk about him are 1. Teba and Harth, who idolize him, and 2. Referencing Revali's landing. Like? He seems kinda like an outcast, ngl...

Btw, the concept of twilight not nicknaming himself twilight is kinda stupid but also 100% something twi would do. I think only the royal family + the sages knew the twilight realm existed IN HIS OWN ERA, much less other eras where the stories get so convoluted, so obvs the rest of the chain has no idea what the twilight is. HE didn't even know what it was until he got sucked into it. But, of course, twilight had to overthink it and get really anxious about other heroes (his hero, in times case) thinking he's evil or whatever and calls himself something else.

Funniest concept tho, is that Dusk says the chain can call her twilight and twi FREAKS THE FUCK OUT. And then the other are like :0 pretty name!!! Poor poor twi.

Thinking about chainverse again. Specifically how the developers of totk said it was like the majoras mask to botw's oot. And now I'm thinking of the relationship between wild and time. No one knows who wild really is in totk despite literally saving hyrule in real time. Everyone knows who time is bc he's the kid who called out the evil King before he could hurt anyone. Both of them have problems with the moon. Wild never really left her zeldas side. Time can't stand by his zelda for more that 5 mins. They have both met a light Sage named Rauru. Like???? Them.
