After spending so long searching for the Mage, the clay doll had been hoping to at least be able to get through a greeting before being interrupted, yet that didn’t seem to be the case. Only one word managed to escape their lips before a hand move to their head, stopping them as green hues stared curiously at him, a little wary of what was going on. 

Before they may have flinched away from the sudden touch from another without any warning, but now they waited patiently, wondering silently just what was so important that he’d interrupt them so suddenly.

Once he was finished, or so they assumed, their own hand moved to just where had been touched, not at all expecting to feel fingertips gently brush against petals. At first, Enkidu seemed perplexed by such an action their Master was taking  —  there was no need for a weapon such as they to be given something quite so delicate or beautiful and surely it would be soiled within the day given what they usually got up to with other Servants. Such an action was completely pointless.

And yet  ...  A serene smile quickly formed on their face. All the seemingly pointless things that humans did are what made them so entertaining to be around, after all. In a strange way, it reminded them of him.

“ Thank you, Shizuka. I appreciate the gesture and shall try to take care of it as best I can. ”

On the surface her resting expression didn't change, but I'd you knew Hakuno well enough then it was obvious that she was both worried and guilty. The slight furrowing of her brow, the twitch downward of her mouth, and her slightly softer voice were all good indicators of how she felt if one knew to look for them. "I'm sorry, Mizuno-kun... I should've been around to help look after you, not..." With a slight breath she flicked her hair back over her shoulder. "Nevermind... But you're feeling better now? That's good."
