hey guys. did you know if disabled people got actual proper compensation so they could live independently you wouldn't have to deal with your "annoying nonbinary roommate who never does the dishes"? they could just live on their own, without having to deal with your ableist comments all the time. those people who "can't do anything"? yeah if they got proper compensation they actually WOULDN'T have to live with you, isn't that awesome! so maybe you could stop making shitty snide little comments and actually get angry that the government is making you live with disabled people you clearly don't respect?

I hate to make this post especially so soon after the last one, but I'm really, really struggling right now and need all the help I can get.
I am disabled and this month, despite being approved for continuation right before, lost my EBT benefits for "inactivity". I just got intensive dental surgery where I had all of my top pallet removed, and am still in recovery. I just only now got off the pain meds they had me on.
I don't like asking for money at all, especially not from people who are here for my free art, something I've also been struggling to make. But I am really panicked, everything happened at once and I got the notice that my benefits would be ending literal days before my surgery, and their office was closed over the weekend so I was only able to call the day before my extractions. I am not able to call now, due to the pain and the inability to use my mouth correctly. Once healed enough, I will be fighting for my benefits, but I don't expect that for at least a week and a half if not more. And I'm out of food now. My roommate and partial caretaker frequents the food pantry for both of us, but even with both of us on EBT, we struggle to support ourselves. Losing my benefits is going to be a major blow.

setting off a few rounds here to keep the rent low. pedophilia isn't a sexuality it's a form of abuse and identifying as a pedophile doesn't mean you're into age play or have intrusive thoughts identifying as a pedophile means you are telling the world that you either have or want to touch children and that in it of itself is the problem. being a pedophile isn't a kink or an identity label it is a form of abuse weaponized against children because they are a systemically oppressed and unprotected minority and expressing your desires to have sex with them contributes to the problem of child abuse regardless of whether youre actually doing it or not. "i would never do it, i just think about it and post about it and identify as people who do it" makes you sound like a neonazi grouyper who just flew in from 4chan and it isn't opening doors to safe kink discussion or any actual help for people with intrusive thoughts or desires. if you want "pedophile liberation" you need child liberation first so they actually have the right to protect themselves, it CAN'T go the other way around. again. identifying as a pedophile and then getting mad at people who think you abuse children is like identifying as a rapist because you're into CNC and then being shocked when people think you've raped people.
remember when problematic used to mean racist, sexist, misogynistic or ableist writing and not just "anything that doesn't fit into disneys christofascist themeing"? remember when if i said something had "problematic portrayals of csa" it meant "the csa is written poorly and dehumanizes both parties/fetishizes the victim in a patriarchal way" and not just "it has csa in it"?
i'm sick of the word problematic shifting to mean anything adult. i hate it. it used to mean something before right wingers associated it with 16 year old ran steven universe criticism blogs and now everyones clambering over themselves to prove their cool and adult and edgy by saying their arts problematic. that word used to mean racist. to me, it still does, so when i see a queer artist toting around how "problematic" their art is because it contains themes of csa or incest or self harm i always just have to wonder if its worth it to label those experiences in the same way a conservative does. do you really think its fair to label all themes of csa "problematic"? does that not gross you out to say those experiences are inherently problematic to talk about? just because nazis and catholics label it as such?
I'm getting very tired of the art discussion here. I'm tuning out. I'm sick of everybody trying to "queer up" conservative talking points. I'm tired of treating my real life experiences as if they're a talking point for fanfic artists and 4channers and pedophiles and zionists and sjws and fascists and edgy fetish artists to debate about. im tired of my options being "either be labeled proshipper or shut the fuck up about your experiences with incest" i'm so sick of it. literally when are you going to grow up.
