Challenge 56: Logo: Hilary Slaughter Illustration Logo
In this challenge, I wanted to update my existing logo while still incorporating an owl. The owl is symbolic to me, not only as my favorite animal, but its symbolic meaning. Owls see in the dark which symbolizes intuition and the ability to see what others do not. Everyone perceives the world in their own light, and in this case the owl symbolizes my perspective. I had a lot of fun with this week’s challenge. Thanks for having me! :)

Hey all! I had fun marrying my old and newer logos! The two were rather disjointed, so I can happily say we are one brand new family of floating heads shouting my name. I will add the sub title "Illustration" now that I think about it. XO

Challenge 56: Logo: The Robinsons
I wanted to put together a logo for my wedding to use on invitations and whatnot and couldn't decide! I think maybe we'll use them both on different things. I want to order stickers for the heart logo maybe? -Emily
Challenge 56: Logo: Stickers I recently redid my logo, so I decided to work on other forms of self promo instead. moo.com has these really neat sticker booklets for only $10 per 90-sticker booklet! Additionally, you could theoretically have every single sticker of the 90 be a different illustration, which is awesome! So, since I've been selling more stuff on Etsy lately, I though this would be a neat thing for my packages. And also, a good giveaway. There are pages of 6 stickers/sheet, so I ordered three different kinds of pages: brief messages, Austin-related things (since my client base is often local), and common themes/characters that reoccur in my work. Can't wait to get these in the mail! Should be soon... Caitlin
