Challenge 81: Tattoos: Wolf Moon
I like space, I like dogs, so by proxy I like the moon and wolves.
Challenge 81: Tattoos: Big Dipper The freckles on my upper right arm are not a perfect replica, but I’ve always thought this particular grouping resembled the big dipper – If I were inclined to get a tattoo, it might be this.

Challenge 81: Tattoos: One Ring
Hey all, this one was fun. I’m not sure if I’d ever actually get this, but if I saw it on someone I’d compliment it for sure. Also, I’m fairly certain Sauron never picked up Narsil but it looks cool so whatever. /nerd
Thanks to SC for having me back again!

Challenge 81: Tattoos: Dog Mom
I’m a dog mom and so for this challenge I wanted to do a mom tattoo…that I could get! No kids yet, just of the fury variety <3

Challenge 81: Tattoos: Sammy meets Pineapple
This challenge was a great opportunity to work through a tattoo I’ve been considering. I have consistently drawn/fixated on a few things since I was a kid, including pineapples and sandwiches. There is something beautiful about the stacked nature of a sandwich, each ingredient tasting a particular way on its own but transforming as it works with the entire unit. To me, the sandwich serves as a beautiful (and delicious) metaphor for the creative process.
This guy would either stack below the pineapple on my right wrist or go on my left wrist in the same place.

Challenge 81: Tattoos: Armadillo Love this challenge idea-- thanks Emily! I know my style isn’t a normal type for tattoos, but I’ve found some artists lately who have abandoned the traditional outline technique, with some even mimicking watercolor. I love the look of those tattoos, so I stuck with a painting style that is already in my wheelhouse. Caitlin
Challenge 81: Tattoos
I've been thinking about what to do to for awhile now, and I'd like to do some tattoo designs! Things to consider for a tattoo design: -Line thickness correlates to how well design lasts over time -Composition should "flow" with the part of the body the (theoretical) tattoo is on. (i.e. design should "fit" the area both aesthetically and physically). -Consider incorporating something meaningful to you. Personally, I think these are the coolest tattoos--the ones with stories attached. - Emily
