Changing World
As the world changes and the things in it grow in different ways we must learn to adapt. Evolve, for the lack of a better word, our way of thinking. When I meet someone I do not base the interaction on skin, sex, or origins. I base it on the human being. In a society where we are quick to judge it often times becomes a uniquely degrading place to be. Where the expectation is PC, is the existence of excuses to be critical. Who cares if your waiter is gay. Why does it matter the person helping you on the phone isn't in this country. Where is it the fault of someone who is trying to learn English? I mean seriously. Get over it. Accept a person for who they ARE not who they SEEM to be. Get over it. Please. Just GET OVER IT!
I have friends that are gay. Worked with them. Hung out with them. I didn't become gay. Didn't find myself wanting to make out with other men. Its not a bug. Just like cancer, it isn't contagious. Morons.
I have a number of Hispanic and Black friends. Love them all to death. In fact I married into a Latino family. They struggle with the same things we do. They pay the same taxes. Work the same jobs. Are smart, loving, and amazing people. Yet they are judged because of an accent, and because they are different.
Shame on anyone. All of us. We aren't better because we are WHITE, or AMERICAN. We are better when we accept those we are around. Learn to love the people that make us different by being different themselves.
It is the selfish and self-appointed that lead to ruin. Those who give without guilt, those who are proactive, those who do because its right; they will lead to a better place in the world.
This may be an extreme way of comparing but whatever: Would you rather follow the charismatic leader who promises to lead your country out of its stink and back to relevance? Or the person who has come to challenge you and drive out the bad blood from you? Fun trick here; Hitler was a charismatic leader who promised to bring Germany back to relevance. Jesus came to challenge and remove the sins.
Think about it. Don't be a dick. Be a human being. Be better.
