Form is everything, so avoid this movement if you struggle to avoid curving your lumbar or thoracic points of your spine. Always start with a light weight to practice technique, as you get stronger you can progress. Once again I chose to use 20seconds work vs 10seconds rest for 4 minutes. This allows my body to experience a strong workout on my posterior chain and really adds an endurance element to my core. Again if this exercise is new to you or you are not particularly strong through your core (this includes spinal posture too not just abdominals and obliques) then I would recommend starting on 10seconds work vs 10seconds rest for 4 minutes.
