#10 Chamia

I’m pretty dissapointed in Chamia this week honestly. After being amongst the best for the past weeks, this is the first time she’s actually faultered in my eyes. This pose is traumatically reminiscent of Heather’s shoe ad in ANTM 2, and that’s never a good thing. However, here Chamia actually has somewhat of a reason to be sitting like that. It looks like she just got off of her camel and sitting there navigating or something. Anyways, at least it tells some sort of story, and I kind of dig that. I wish I could see her right hand though, it looks like it’s dissapearing into the camel. Maybe that could’ve been posed a little more gracefully. I really like the way her face has photographed here though, she’s caught the light beautifully and she looks very regal. She’s also extending her neck to the max, which always looks good.

#1 Chamia

Just like the show did, I would give this shot the FCO this week. I just can’t get over how stunning she looks here facially. Chamia really has the one of the most unique eye shapes I’ve ever seen, they almost have an elf-ish quality to them from this angle. I also think this is a great angle for her bone structure; her cheekbones are catching the light but you can still see her jaw definition. Some people have said that they think she looks worried here, but I don’t particularly see that in her eyes. Anyways, the pose is great too - it’s definitely the best from the girls who decided to sit down on the deck. It’s actually very interesting and intricate, but it still comes across as a natural position to sit down in. Her legs look amazing too, really really tall! She also used both of her arms to sell the products; the card is being shown in a natural way, and I like how she’s pulling the attention to the hat with her other arm. I do wish the photographer had chosen a different composition though, the space on the right is kind of empty. That’s really the only flaw I can spot here, and that’s not even her fault. Great job!

#5 Chamia (left)

This shot has the highest average ranking this week, and it’s easy to see why. Both girls are really working together, but still pulling their own weight here. Chamia kind of took the same approach as Tomi did in her shot below her, but I like the excecution of the pose more here. She really took the camera angle into account, and managed to make her body look more toned and tall-looking than Tomi. I also like how her one leg actually overlaps to Alina’s side of the shot, and it kind of connects the two without actually interacting with each other. Then as we get to the top half, I love how long her neck looks and how she positioned her arms (like Tomi). Then for her face; it’s an interesting angle, and I like the tilt, but her expression isn’t working for me. The frown reads as worried, which is supported by the slight insecurity in her eyes. Anyways, I think she did a great job here.

#2 Chamia

I’m going to have the most difficult time ranking Chamia’s shots this cycle, because of the circumstances. If anyone did not know, Chamia was murdered just a couple of weeks ago after this episode aired - causing me to have a delay in posting. It’s just heartbreaking to me to see such a beautiful young woman with so much promise and potential in life pass away so soon, and thus I just wanted to have this moment to remember her and pay all of our respects. My condolences to her family, rest in peace Chamia.. I will be continueing to rank and talk about the remainder of her portfolio, her legacy, and hopefully it’s an absolutely beautiful one.

Now, for this shot, I LOVE IT! For some reason it’s not the most popular in the fanbase, and I don’t really understand why. The only, only flaws I can see is how her chin is slightly dimpled due to the muscle contraction, and how her other hand is kind of there in the top left of the frame. Really not a lot to dislike for a shot. Look how she’s just glowing! She just radiates beauty and gracefulness here, and there couldn’tve been a better shoot for her to showcase that. Her eyes have so much emotion, and they just pull me in, you know! I think what I love most, however, is the angle she chose. I just love her jawline and cheekbone shape here, and I can’t really explain why. She just has a beautiful bone structure! She did an amazing job, but there was just now beating the FCO this week.
