#1 Alina (right)

Two weeks in a row she’s blown me away right now, and I wasn’t expecting anything less of my pre-show winner pick. Truly, all I can say is that this was an extremely deserving FCO on the show. A look like hers is truly one in a million, and I’m so glad we’re getting the chance to witness her blossoming into the absolute beast she is. I mean, just look how strong that face is! Her bone structure is truly so insane and high fashion, and she’s managed to make it work in both an editorial shoot and a commercial shoot. The light’s hitting her cheekbones beautifully, and even though they’re barely visible, her eyes are amazingly intense again. Then the body just looks so toned and tall too! This is probably one of the better portrayals of making your pose look natural this week. I love the definition in her shoulders and arms due to how she’s leaning on the ring, it makes her look really toned and muscular, and I love how she’s leaning back just a bit to give definition to her abs. Then her legs just seem to go on forever as well. There’s truly nothing to hate in this shot.

#2 Jerri (right)

For the second week in a row, Jerri has proven to be the superior twin for me. Honestly, this was my favorite shot for a long time after the episode aired, but I think the reason she ends up second here is because she’s the second person I notice in this shot, while Alina is the first in hers. However, once I get done looking at Tomi, my focus stays on Jerri. I love the concept of her part of the shot! It looks like she just got done boxing or fighting, and is just sitting there wiping away some sweat like ‘and now what?’. It’s so effortlessly chique and fierce to me, even though it’s definitely posed - which honestly just shows her to be a great model. Her body looks really good for being in such a slouchy pose too, unlike Tomi’s in the shot. However, the real moneymaker in this shot is her face. It’s brilliant! Even though her lips being pulled on and she’s frowning, she’s not losing her model composure for one bit. I’d even say that it’s very fashionably rough. It’s truly an amazing shot of Jerri.

#3 Badmarmag (right)

This girl is quickly starting to grow on me. For some reason I never notice her during the actual episodes, but her shots always pleasantly surprise me. This shot is SO fierce! Honestly, this top 3 is pretty interchangeable for me, and this was my FCO for a little while, until I decided I like the more subtle approach of Alina and Jerri a bit more for this theme. Anyways, Badmarmag is completely stealing the shot here! The angles she’s making with her body are so interesting and fashionable, and for some reason it doesn’t look really posed or out of place. I think I especially love the leg placement; by placing her feet closer to the camera she created the illusion of looking taller. I think the upturned angle also goes really well with the already cool pose too. Her jawline really stands out here, and her facial features look gorgeous as a whole as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her go far even without a real edit, as obviously she’s got the potential to deliver some killer shots.

#4 Goyokhon (right)

Here’s the thing, I hate that I love this shot! As I said in Batkhand’s write-up, it took a lot of time for me to start liking this, but now I actually love it, and I know that I shouldn’t. Honestly, most things are totally wrong here; she looks miserable and way rough, she’s totally slouched over and really not doing anything, and I like it? I can’t explain why, but this shot has such a raw, real fashionable vibe to it. Even though she looks rough, I can finally see Goyokhon’s real potential. There’s such a story and emotion behind the eyes too, and it pulls me in. Then the pose is just effortless and cool to me, and unlike Odnoo, it doesn’t read as awkward or stiff to me. I think the crop of the shot helps it too, though, as I think the close-up is just a bit more fashionable. Last but not least, the interaction is great too. Though Batkhand is doing most of the work, it benefits Goyokhon the most, and all I can say is good for her. I really, really like this shot!

#5 Chamia (left)

This shot has the highest average ranking this week, and it’s easy to see why. Both girls are really working together, but still pulling their own weight here. Chamia kind of took the same approach as Tomi did in her shot below her, but I like the excecution of the pose more here. She really took the camera angle into account, and managed to make her body look more toned and tall-looking than Tomi. I also like how her one leg actually overlaps to Alina’s side of the shot, and it kind of connects the two without actually interacting with each other. Then as we get to the top half, I love how long her neck looks and how she positioned her arms (like Tomi). Then for her face; it’s an interesting angle, and I like the tilt, but her expression isn’t working for me. The frown reads as worried, which is supported by the slight insecurity in her eyes. Anyways, I think she did a great job here.

#6 Tomi (left)

I think this is one of only two shots were both girls look great, which is pretty tragic. However, I find Tomi to be the weaker part of this shot, mainly because of her lower body. The way she’s leaning back against the side of the boxing ring is great conceptually, but her hips look so, so wide here. I think the cut of the shorts only accentuate that, and thus she should’ve taken that into account. It throws her whole body proportions off actually, and she doesn’t look as toned as she actually is. I do really love her upper body and face here! The pose/arms are very chill and laid back, and I really like that vibe for this concept. Her natural beauty also really shines through here, though I do think that she should’ve looked at the camera instead of ahead of her. Can we also talk about how her makeover completely transformed her!? This styling isn’t great but she looks way more modelesque and edgy now.

#7 Odnoo (left)

Odnoo actually really improved for me this week! She’s probably serving the best model-face out of anyone this week, and that’s exactly what I had a problem with last week. Her features look really gorgeous here, and she really found her light, as shows in her bone structure popping out. However, I have some major problems with the pose. Just like her partner, the limp arms are bothering me a lot! I think they look more natural and relaxed than Misheel’s, but they still look very awkward and stiff. I do like the rest of her body, but it’s just very plain and simple - which isn’t really a problem, but it just looks like she’s not modelling at all. I will say that she looks really tall here, and her makeover (even though barely visible), did absolute wonders for her!

#8 Anujin (right)

Anujin dissapointed me this week, especially after such a flawless performance last week. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s a pretty good shot, but it just doesn’t live up to my expectations. Let’s start with what I like about it; I totally get what she’s going for, and the rough/energetic vibe is really working for me. It shows in both the pose and the face. However, I guess that’s also something I don’t like: she’s lost her model composure for me. While she’s doing a great job at portraying the theme, I don’t think it’s particularly modelesque. She looks pretty short, even while sitting down, and I guess I just wanted it to be a little more polished. Individually, neither Suvda or Anujin blew me away, but as a whole, I think this shot actually works for some reason.
