Yesterday was one of the best days ever. We drove 3 1/2 hours up to my dream school Champlain College. Once I was there, I really started to feel like this was definitely the place I wanted to spend my next 4 years. I met almost all of my friends from our Champlain College group chat we made, I got to do really fun activities with them like tie-dye my acceptance shirt and play corn hole and dance with all of them including Chauncey the mascot which was super funny, I chose my top choice dorm buildings, I got to look at the beautiful lake, meet my professors for next year in my majors and see the buildings I will be working and creating in, and last but not least, I put half of my deposit down to assure that I will definitely be attending Champlain College in the class of 2022. I'm so happy and excited for what the future brings because what I saw and the people I met yesterday, I know my future is going to be incredible with lots of friends, help and my teachers believe that I can do great in my classes, I will live in a beautiful inspirational place, and overall just have millions of awesome opportunities that I wouldn't get anywhere else because of the upside down curriculum. I will be working as a graphic designer by my sophomore year or junior year and will be doing internships right from the beginning to get my voice and work out there. This will lead to opportunities in the future and I heard incredible jobs that alumni have already at some of the most top graphic design firms in the world. I learned that most graphic design students study abroad, which means I could study in Dublin Ireland, Florence Italy (my favorite), or Montreal Canada! It's not mandatory, but the jobs Graphic Design and Digital Media students are getting are insanely inspirational. I can't wait to see all my friends and move into one of the dorms I chose in the Fall! ☺️💕🌅✨ #champaccepts #champlaincollege #classof2022 #lakechamplain #admittedstudentsday @champlainedu @champadmissions (at Champlain College)
