Inquisitive minds tend to work at strange speeds, and Kaeya’s wasn’t an expectation to that rule. Leaning over the Outrider’s shoulder as she began to talk to Klee about a small trip she went on with the infamous Honorary Knight. Finger placed against his lips before hand, Kaeya waited for the perfect moment to pipe up.

“Is that all you’ve done while you were out, Amber?“

“Aha, just the knight I wanted to see~. A moment please, Amber.” Striding over with slow, purposeful steps, Kaeya stopped in front of the Outrider with crossed arms and a languid grin. “I’ve been hearing some things around Mondstadt about someone in the Knights of Favonius. I would like your help and opinion in this matter.” Silver eyes stared straight into golden ones, clearly knowing despite his calm and curious face. “You see, there have been rumors circulating about a Knight Captain in Ordo Favonius being a bully... would you happen to know anything about that?”

“I’m waiting for that day to come, Amber. With how explosive you can be, I thought you of all people would of figured it out by now.” There’s that Cheshire grin. Amber, you make this too easy.

Are you sure? His ears are ringing quite a bit right now. And there’s only one person who’ll talk so openly about her opinion on her senpai. What a dishonest kouhai he has.

"Senpai!" Although Amber herself was quite exhausted from being an instructor for the Adventurer's Guild via Winter Training, Amber made sure to put in time aside before she was assigned for the job. Pushing the gift box over to his stomach, there's a slight pout on the Outrider's face. "Here! Happy Birthday, Kaeya-senpai. Just because I'm working doesn't mean I forgot. So take it! And don't go catching a cold, you big dummy." Inside were snow gloves and a mini Kaeya Baron Bunny-like charm.

Kaeya's Birthday 2021 -- Accepting until 12/05 -- @championglider

Another year, another age older. He didn't plan much to do with today. Perhaps get a few things done, go on patrol where Jean needed him. Thinks like that to pass the time. However, on his way towards Mondstadt's gates, he was approached by his favorite kouhai. Hands began to move, about to say something he was aiming to tease Amber about -- when the box was thrusted into his stomach.

There's a quick second of pause, but he recovers himself before she can notice. His hands quickly go for the box to hold, looking at the Outrider before looking back at the box. A chuckle leaves his lips, shaking his head as well.

"How could I forget, when you're always reminding me like a young kid on Christmas?"

One hand moves, giving her a small wave.

"I won't catch one. The cold doesn't bother me as much as it does you."

He begins to open the box in front of her, taking out the charm and the gloves. The charm is clipped onto his belt, right next to his Vision. The gloves slide on with ease, quickly switching out the leather ones for them. He tests them, seeing if they're battle-ready. It shouldn't be a surprise that they are, which he's thankful for.

Before she can run back to work, however, she's getting a ruffle on the head.

"Thanks Amber."
