Sonya wasn’t altruistic, not by a long shot. Yet here she was paying for this random woman’s gardening stuff- she couldn’t help it. She hadn’t even been in the store but the commotion was driving her insane. Whoever this lady was, she had no idea how to use their phone. The one thing this city gave to you- it should’ve been on their priority list for learning.

She taps a few buttons on her screen and a bar shows up- moments later it fills up ‘transaction complete’ popping up after done. The merchant, thanking her- quite a lot. Sonya only able to nod in return.

“No it’s . . . Fine. Yes, no problem. She WILL be on her way now.”

The woman, which she was speaking of was far more built than herself, but that doesn’t stop the mage from shoving her things into her arms and pushing her out the door. As soon as they’re outside Sonya lets out a big sigh.

She holds her hand out towards the other woman, payback now.

“Your phone. Let me see it, Right now.”

She curls up in a couch next to the fire, brandishing her s’mores stick like a crazed conductor of a disastrous symphony as she sticks her face up close. It’s nighttime but she’s still wearing her hat, some frilly flowery sun-thing that wouldn’t last a second against the smallest breeze.

Somehow, she’s decided that you’re now BFFs.

“Oooh, let me tell you about my ex-boyfriend!”

“His name was Gary and he was the most insufferable, stuck-up prat I ever knew! Always trying to upstage everyone and making me look bad!”

Her stick jabs into the convenient pile of marshmallows, stabbing through three fresh victims before she roasts them over the flames.

“I mean, sure, I was looking for the perfect guy, but it gets annoying if they’re a little too perfect, you know? Just remembering him makes me gag!”

She offers you her stick, hinting that you should take the first gorgeously caramelized marshmallow on top. 

“By the way, what’s your name again?”

To say this city was a mess was being nice, it was a pile of rubble caused by some kind of unexplained calamity. But it seems winding up in the middle of some kind of mess is your forte. However after the storm comes the calm, and with the calm comes boredom. Precisely....Your boredom. So here you are wound up in some kind of odd ward, you found a neatly piled on pile of rock. 

You decided to kick one. 

[Roll for Attack: 4+6=10.] It’s rock, its not hard to hit. you kick it pretty far. The judge from Fairglass would score you a solid 7/10.Nice. Then it dawns on you. Rocks don’t neatly pile themselves do they?

It’s not normally her job to go chasing strays. It would take up a lot of her day, and so, Wolf makes it a point to try and have others to work on that. Thankfully, the vast majority of shelter dogs are brought in. But today, she is shorthanded, and therefore, is sent around chasing this collie that seems content to sprint her hardest around the park she’s following. 

The dog goes sprinting past some unsuspecting person, and Wolf tries to push herself to go a bit faster, leash in hand. 

“Catch that dog! Don’t let it leave the park!”

Exploring the area near the lake hadn’t been Nick’s best idea. In fact, even in his long and varied career of dumb ideas, he might consider it one of his worst. He’s never telling his husband he fell into the lake; he’d never hear the end of it. Not to mention the fact that he’s somehow lost his wallet; with any luck, it fell out before he hit the water.

Just as he’s starting to get his hair back into their trademark spikes, he spots her; another person sitting by the side of the water. How long has she been sitting there? More importantly, did she see him fall into the lake? He wrings out his jacket, placing it over one shoulder as he addresses her.

“Excuse me, you haven’t seen a wallet around here, have you? I, uh... dropped it.”

(If I play it cool, there’s always the chance she didn’t see anything...)

“When there is a festival, you have to go! It’s a celebration for the season- a true necessity.” Quetzalcoatl cheered, throwing a hand up into the air for dramatic flair. Celebrations such as these were quite a show for the goddess, seeing people dance around in celebration... it was the homecoming she always looked forward to.

“Here, we must make our presence or else we’d let everyone down! Let us dance the day away in honor of the shining sun!” Quetzal grabbed the hand of the stranger, pulling her into a swinging dance.
