Greetings. This is the Californian banner of the Imu Basin Historical Tarun Society's Tumblr account, where we will share interesting tidbits about our homeland's history and culture.
To start a quick first discussion, have you ever visited the grand city of Chanam? Built in -2,200 Cana (-769 Pestaran) and attested in the Babayiga yak-skin tablets 200 years later, the megalopolis in the deeper parts of the Khatun valley and at the end of the Tarun river served as the capital of many great northern empires. Nowadays, it is famous for being the center of Agni Khogen's (1765-1827) grand khaghanate.
