The last drops of my vintage Chanel N°22 eau de toilette, the last perfume I remember my mother wearing. When she moved to the country she had her N°22 edt & bath powder along with some Dior Dune, but she'd retired by then. She'd pretty much stopped wearing perfumes altogether & I swiped her Chanel. Dune was never my thing. Over the years I've always procrastinated getting more N°22 edt, now it's almost impossible to find. She had the white refillable canister version. I'm very picky with my Chanel formulas & don't like any of the edps. I'd consider a parfum in the end if I can't find a suitable edt. I close my eyes & inhale the stunning aldehyde overdose & gorgeous powder of N°22 ☁️ there really is nothing like it. Today is a hard day. Grief is ephemeral, & the most intense feeling of moss, emptiness & sadness can hit you like a meteor when you least expect it.
