So bummed. I think the Pat McGrath foundation is breaking me out. I'm not thrilled with it anyway, so I guess it's just not meant to be. ___ It has a beautiful skin-like finish, but my oily skin basically eats that foundation for lunch. lol. It has very poor staying power on me. Anyway, now I have a few random red bumps in places where I normally wouldn't break out. Le sigh. It's the last weekend before school begins for my three kids. 😱 I blinked and summer break was over, basically! ___ On a skincare note, I think that I'm ready to jump back into retinol. I've decreased use a lot because I've wanted to stick to a Biologique Recherche routine, and most of the online consults I've done with BR spas discourage retinol. Before my mostly BR trial, I was using retinol most nights, but during my little BR experiment, I'd use retinol once a week, if at all. But, my skin seems better with retinol-it helps with acne, helps in fading hyperpigmentation and helps against wrinkles, so I'm getting back on the retinol train. Choo-choo 😆 ___ Here's my #skincareroutine from this morning, Sunday 8/4/19 1️⃣Lait U 2️⃣P50 PIGM400 3️⃣Missha FTE mist 4️⃣Serum Placenta 5️⃣Oligo Proteines Marine under eyes for brightening 6️⃣Paula's Choice Niacinamide Booster 10%* 7️⃣PC C15 Super Booster* 8️⃣Skinmedica Lytera 2.0, it's been about 7 weeks, twice daily and no changes yet, but it can take a few months to see improvement with these types of products. Must.remain.patient.
