Tohru sat down beside him on the bench. “Without love we would be blind. There’d be no kindness in the world.” She reached into her jacket’s pocket, pulling out a package of unused tissues. “I feel like you’re going to need these more than I do.” she added.

New friends! (Kaya+BB)

  Kaya had been alone for a while, since her butler had gotten arrested...Merry was still around but Kaya couldn’t always bother him when he was busy. So Kaya had decided to get a pet, Merry of course had tried to research some breeders but Kaya didn’t know what she wanted until she’d seen an ad for the local shelter.    Kaya had thought about it for a bit before deciding it was the perfect idea, everyone won! She got to help some poor helpless animal, the pet got a new home and she promoted a new shelter online right?  That was how Kaya ended up walking into the lobby of the little shelter. Kaya hadn’t been in a shelter before, she didn’t know what she was expecting but it probably wasn’t this? Kaya hesitantly approached the desk and brushed her hair back behind her ear, maybe she should have waited for Merry? 

Nah, Merry would have fretted and had something to say about every animal, this way Kaya got to have her own opinion since it would be her responsibility afterall and Kaya couldn’t rely on him for everything right? Kaya was more determined than ever to pick out her perfect pet companion! Kaya rang the little bell on the desk and readjusted the bag on her shoulder.

this plan had better go off without a hitch. how many times now had they come so close to making it out with a good haul only to be interrupted by the damn titans? the brotherhood was never going to take them seriously at this rate. and if she couldn’t get into the brotherhood then what good was all that abuse time at Hive Academy. she was bad luck incarnate! she was better than this! she just had to prove it so she could finally join the only group that would ever really accept her. even more important ; they would understand her. it was a simple jump to realize that to get into the big leagues she’d have to start acting like she was already there. give them a gift  that would force them to pay attention to her. and what better gift than to dismantle the young thorns pestering every upstart villain. she just hoped her team could act like a team for just one night. 

“ can’t we just pretend we never saw each other? I could really -- ugh. why am I even bothering. you wouldn’t care what I had to say anyway, would you, Kitty. all you lot ever seem to do is ensure we always have at least one bruise... remind me why you are considered heroes again if all you do is backstab, lie, and hurt? “

       that was.. dark... but..  almost sort of relatable. the only difference was that alberto WAS afraid to die, even if his bravado suggested that he wasn’t. he wouldn’t admit it, of course, but.. he just saw dying as worth it if he was able to live his life to the fullest. was that.. different? he didn’t know. 

    “ i... think i get it. everyone wants to live a little, right? but what’s stopping you? if it’s your bruno, just say silenzio bruno and go for it. i mean, no point just sitting on the sidelines forever, right? ”
