just going to sleep, instead of screaming bloody murder and trying to escape the crib for 5 minutes. 

Today, and yesterday too, kiddo was still standing up and happy in his crib when the final page out of the chapter was read, so we just kissed his head, said goodnight, and turned out the light. And he went to sleep.

just like that.

Maybe he's a changeling? 

Or maybe he's just so tired from walking that he can't fight the good fight against bedtime with his usual vim and vigor?

I don't know, but I like it. We've changed absolutely nothing about our routine. Maybe this little guy is going to learn how to sleep like a person after all. The 10 month mark is the late end for consolidating sleep and learning sleep routines, but it is in the range.
