[10:06:54 PM] killian joenss: ((OKAY BUT REALLY- one day peter invites killian over when he's closing up the shop- he works late shifts bc he likes it when the work is slow and he can linger by killian's table- killian takes his laptop to the corner tables and sits and stares out the windows at the night/city and peter brings him coffee and they flirt and chat and peter gets VICIOUSLY jealous when pretty girls/boys alike also notice killian's looks and try to chat him up((- once, some blonde named emma buys killian a drink and leans across the table to talk to him, asks what he's writing and is that a guitar pick on his necklace and where his accent's from and killian enjoys it, she's friendly and nice and pretty and peter practically throws a glass across the cafe at them- luckily it's late so by the time he's free to come over he can show emma his teeth and be all ''sorry, we're closing'' and she leaves and that would be that except she leaves her number with killian, and he smiles and TAKES IT...so naturally peter locks up the shop and shooes off any other customers and yells at killian and gives him the cold shoulder and killian's confused bc he didn't think they were that serious, he doesn't really know enough about peter to be able to gauge his moods/behaviors just yet so he just leaves and it's not until he comes back days later that he realizes and apologizes and peter doesn't forgive him but he kisses him anyway)) anyway peter works the late shift and it's nice and quiet and calm and he sits at killian's table and watches him write, killian helps him count his tips and always keeps his table clean and never makes a mess for peter to clean and he appreciates that- they're warm and comfortable together and sometimes killian goes out for a cigarette and peter joins him- it's a weird combination of scents but it's THEM- killian doesn't smoke super heavy so there's only wisps of it on his tongue when he kisses peter but it's good, he likes it. and sometimes when peter's sure the cameras are off and he's locked up and turned off the neon OPEN sign he pulls killian into the back storage room, lets killian bend him across an unused desk and fuck him until he's shaking. and sometimes they don't kiss at all, they just sit together and talk or stare out the window; peter never asks to read what killian writes and killian never offers to explain, not until something happens- maybe killian's offered a job out of state and he's come one last time to say goodbye, and peter's so furious and sick and afraid and hurt that he won't listen, orders him to leave and they argue and killian storms out and peter regrets it instantly but HOW, WHY would he accept it, how could he?? and he spend sthe whole day in a huge funk bc he's sure he'd known since day 1 how much killian meant to him but he's never really realized it until now. and killian comes back later and he's upset and a little drunk and he apologizes, says he had to, he's broke and desperately needs the job, needs to get away, he really had no choice and he really didn't want to bc he didn't want to leave peter and peter shuts him up with a kiss and it's late so they lock up the place and go to killian's apartment and for a long time it's just them kissing and kissing and kissing, killian fucks peter again and again and they're frantic and noisy and angry and peter leaves scratches that go deep into killian's waist but he doesn't care. they fall asleep and wake up in the morning and peter's late for work but killian's already getting dressed, and in the daylight peter hardly recognizes the apartment bc 80% of all killian's things are packed up or just gone and he feels sick again and killian's eyes almost look red, like he woke up with a hangover or woke up to cry but he just takes peter in his arms and holds him tight and kisses the top of his head and says he's leaving him apresent, but he can't look at it until killian's gone. so a couple weeks pass and they go on with their routine, hang out and kiss and fuck and peter hates what's happening but it's not like he can stop it. and then one day killian's gone, he takes a bus and peter ignores his texts and calls, goes about his day at work and goes home and waits another few weeks to open the thing killian left him. it 's a simple cardboard box, nothing fancy, but when he opens it it's a bunch of killian's favorite CDs and books, all with notes to him inside, and there's a notebook and folder of printed pages from his manuscript, which turns out to be what he'd been writing all along- most of it is poetry, which actually turns out to be better than peter could have ever guessed and he gets angry at himself for crying and he finally calls killian and tells him he hates him and killian just laughs, it's early morning where he is and he sounds exhausted but he just goes ''i miss you.'' and after that peter stops being a lil bitch and keeps in touch, and just to give htis a happy otp ending killian makes a shitload of money at his new job, enough to transport peter to live permanently with him the end
