Sometimes I like to think I would survive in the medieval world, but then my skin starts itching after holding a piece of metal for 5 seconds and I'm reminded I would probably be left in the forest for the fairies to take back before my 3rd birthday, because 2yos shouldn't be able to speak in complex sentences or write their own name.

This is my first OC of Troll hunters, it came to me a few days ago and I hope you enjoy it^^

Backstory explained further:

He arrived on earth only 21 years ago, but immediately fell in love with the surface. He studied at Arcadia Oaks High School before Jim's arrival and had the opportunity to have Strickler as his teacher.

During his years with Janus Order (where he was a hacker, since he always tried to avoid becoming an assassin) he learned -from his teacher- that Changelings are not the equal of trolls, but they are better! They can walk in daylight and have more flexibility and agility than a normal troll.

He has always hated having to submit to the Gumm-Gumm and one day, after one of them tried to hurt his girlfriend (who came to find out about the existence of the troll market) he rebels and kills one of them.

During that evening he realizes that it is not right for humans to have to suffer in a war that is not theirs, and so he decides to abandon the Janus Order for good and create his own that aims to protect humans and mutants so they can reign over the surface against the Trolls.

Summary: Janna is a changeling who defected the Janus Order and stopped working for Gumm-Gumms many years ago. She then runs away and looks for shelter at Arcadia Oaks, seeking protection in Trollmarket (disguised) and from her father, Stricklander.

When Trollhunters starts Janna is living a double life as the troll Jannara and the human Jenna. She's an infiltrated changelling in trollmarket who's best friends with Draal and also acquainted with Blinky and Aaarrrgghh. She's not close friends with them, but does like them and they get along enough to spent time together sometimes. The fact that Blinky trains the trollhunter makes Jannara even more interested in developing that relationship. However, it is noted that Janna is not infintrated neither for Gunmar or The Janus Order, she's only there for herself.

Janna has developed a love for her human life years ago. She defected from The Janus Order and hid in Arcadia. Jenna's human familiar was Welsh, when she decides to defect, she has to leave her family behind in order to run away and hide from the Order. After many years running, she gets tired and, looking for protection, chooses to find shelter in Arcadia, where she can hide in safe Trollmarket with 3 trolls she already knows, Draal, Blinky and Aaarrrgghh, who still don't know she's a changelling, and of course, she's willing to keep it that way.

In addition, Arcadia is the home of Strickler, Jannara's father, who she seeks help in her human life. Although the two of them have a fairly complicated relationship, Strickler agrees to help, she's his daughter after all. Strickler does work for Bular, Gunmar and The Janus Order, but he does it more out of fear and ambition rather then loyalty. Therefore he has little to no reason not to help Janna. Since linking Jenna to him would be suspicious and thus dangerous both for her and him, he sets Jenna with an adoptive family, the Pepperjacks.

Janna is a very loving person, she cares deeply for her friends and family and is willing to help and protect them, however, she will protect and put herself first, if needed. She usually maintains herself informed with whatever happens in Trollmarket either with gossip that spreads or what she learned hanging with Blinky and Aaarrrgghh, who later on she developted a friendship with. In school, she's not popular or anything like that, she spends most of her time with Eli or alone and tends to defend him from Steve whenever she can. As seen how much Eli is picked on in school, it is clear that she's not often around. She usually wanders school and Trollmarket overhearing people's conversations and eavesdropping to know everything that's going on.

As a trained infiltrated changelling, Jannara is able to maintain herself lowkey, not call attention and is extremely stealthy when she needs to. That's why even if she is now close to trolls like Draal, Blinky and Aaarrrgghh, who are quite well-known in Trollmarket, she is frequently disregarded, which is good for keeping a low profile and not being discovered. At school she manages to do the same, of course she's not popular and doesn't want to be, but many people know who she is and her name, however don't usually pay attention on what she's doing. Furthermore, there is the information she obtains from Strickler, they both keep a lot of secrets from each other in order to have some leverage over one another. In spite of that, Strickler occasionaly fills Janna in on what the gumm-gumms are doing so she can protect herself in any case. Sometimes, she sneaks in their meetings to obtain knowledge she knows Strickler is not willing to share. Another advantage of being lowkey is that no one notices the frequent visits Jenna makes at Strickler's office, which would be suspicious and lead into trouble otherwise.

Another sort of ally Janna has in Arcadia is Ms. Nomura. Although the don't actually help each other on anything, they've been acquaintances for quite some years. Janna didn't know Nomura was in Arcadia until they met one day and recognized each other. Nomura did not to tell on her as she owed Janna a favor, and they both agreed to not meddle in the other's business during their time in Arcadia.

When Trollhunters Part 1 starts Janna has already been in Arcadia for 2 years. She's best friends with Draal, is on the verge of getting closer to Blinky and Aaarrrgghh, and allegedly spends most of her day in the woods and sewers taking shelter in shadows and exploring the world by daylight. Strickler is kept in the dark regarding her Trollmarket affairs. She has a consolidated friendship with Eli, though they're still working out their sibling dynamic, and often sneaks out at night without their parents realising.
