Society

So in society’s standards I’m ugly and gross. 

Why?

Because I’m not a tiny thing. 

Because I like tattoos and piercings.

I don’t work out to the point of passing out.

I don’t starve myself.

But here is the thing. Shouldn’t our society be changing at a great pace then it is? 

I am a bigger person. I know that, but guess what it doesn’t make me gross or ugly. 

I have 9 piercings in each ear. Still doesn’t make me gross or ugly.

I’m on my way to getting a lot of tattoos. Again doesn’t put who I am down any further. 

I shouldn’t have to feel bad for who I am. I shouldn’t have to feel bad that when I look for clothes I have to get a XL or something like that. I have big boobs and I am chubby. Maybe my curves aren’t the exact way that is what a girl is suppose to have.

But what right does our society have to tell me that I’m ugly. 

That my round face isn’t what guys or people are looking for. 

I’ve gone through this shit most of my life. 

Not just from people from school or people from work or even just people in general when I’m out and about. But I’ve had to deal with it from family members. I know I’m still dealing with esteem issues. 

But why do girls now just going into middle school or high school have to deal with it? 

Why isn’t society molding into what it should be?

I mean come on people! If someone is healthy, but has some extra here and there shouldn’t be a big deal!

I don’t know this rant wasn’t as organized as I wanted it to. It went better in my head ha. I just I don’t know. The world kind of sucks in this way. 

I guess my rant is over.
