Admiration turns into awe, turns into envy, unresolved turns into jealousy, turns into hate. 🧐 • • There is NO WAY you can hold so much hate for someone or people that you do not know...and not actually hate yourself. This is the epitome of self hate. 🤷🏽♀️ • • • The irony is, people of color, with all that has occurred to our indigenous people, slavery, systemic racism, etc. all that is mimicked and attained in sports, academia, architecture, music, art, dance, food, medicine and culture, in general don’t really have to sit around and proclaim how phenomenal and superior we are. We just do what we do. It’s in our DNA. Black Panther is actually a fine depiction of that excellence.
