What a wonderful way to spend some quality family time by shooting a commercial together 🎥, our first as a fam, with the first day in LA, then the next in Big Bear 🐻, where we got to celebrate Prayer's bear-thday too! I'm so proud of Kallie and the kids for being such pros on set both in front of the camera (w/all the takes, the fun notes, and all the heat 🔥) and in the whole process--even as our time on set other than shooting was mercifully pretty short for the kid's sake... Though they wouldn't have minded hanging and chowing on crafty! 😂 Thankful to our Father for providing the job and to all the crew for being so gracious and cool. It was certainly memorable, esp in Big Bear, what with the Alpine Slide, the Lake, treats in the village, the cabin (that, as "Cabins4Less", definitely had some aspects of that😳), watching the Dubs win again 🏀, and rock climbing... It was a complete blessing. And much needed. Thankful to our kind and ever-loving Provider for a triplet of job BOOKINGS! 🙌🏼 I love getting to tell and point out to the kids how God shows His faithfulness so tangibly so often. Here's just a few of the ways lately: 📽️ Shot a music video yesterday with a big artist playing a Protestor... It got feisty! 🎤 Booked another VO Dubbing job, coming up! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The #ChangGang booked a fun commercial, shooting next week, including a little bit of travel! So ridiculously proud of my daughter's magnanimous performance as a Seahorse and then as a sort of MC (telling jokes between setups) for Little Mermaid Junior 🧜🏻! She and her friend Phoenix were little goofball wonders, with such funny ad-libs and off-the-cuff reactions. I was blown away! And how she gave it all her with the dancing and the singing through 12(❗) shows. Afterward, she and Kallie (who was heavily involved with helping backstage AND on coaching and working on Prayer's performance--she's picked up more than a few things from our @officialbobope work and beyond!) were exhausted, understandably, which led to some minor gaffs in a couple of the shows between, but all played off so naturally. That this was her first theater show--a whole hour and half at that!--with all the challenges (and fun) of doing it through a homeschool co-op. And she got to do it with several of her closest friends... What a beautiful, treasured experience for her. I'm SO freaking proud of her I could 😭! There were many great performances among them, though she was told on several occasions that she and Phoenix stole the show... Yep, a little dad brag there. What a day (and the day before) for the #ChangGang! Shot a fun @officialbobope workout this morning, then taped 2 commercial family auditions, with 1 coming in moments before we taped the other, and then got an email from a company about Bobo PE possibly partnering up!! This, after getting hit up about a collab with a friend's popular YouTube, and getting an email yesterday from ANOTHER company about possibly working together... 😮 Wow. The Lord has been hearing our prayers, as always, but has been answering them in especially kind, gracious, even miraculous, and generous ways as of late! Praise Him! Stay tuned... Well we managed to get one pic of the #ChangGang on actual Christmas day, and it did the trick, but the day itself was fabulous. Thank God for sending His Son to pay our price of death from our sin, first by becoming fully man, as we needed Him to be. Rejoicing in that, good times with family, a white Christmas!, fun gifts, a miraculous apology from a child in this photo (in the LEFT half--and also not just from playing the game Sorry! today), entertaining NBA action, news of a friend's miraculous healing, adorable animals around, and much more.
