So ridiculously proud of my daughter's magnanimous performance as a Seahorse and then as a sort of MC (telling jokes between setups) for Little Mermaid Junior 🧜🏻! She and her friend Phoenix were little goofball wonders, with such funny ad-libs and off-the-cuff reactions. I was blown away! And how she gave it all her with the dancing and the singing through 12(❗) shows. Afterward, she and Kallie (who was heavily involved with helping backstage AND on coaching and working on Prayer's performance--she's picked up more than a few things from our @officialbobope work and beyond!) were exhausted, understandably, which led to some minor gaffs in a couple of the shows between, but all played off so naturally. That this was her first theater show--a whole hour and half at that!--with all the challenges (and fun) of doing it through a homeschool co-op. And she got to do it with several of her closest friends... What a beautiful, treasured experience for her. I'm SO freaking proud of her I could 😭! There were many great performances among them, though she was told on several occasions that she and Phoenix stole the show... Yep, a little dad brag there.
