just remembered i will have been friends w t for 10 years now and we have had our ups n downs and memories but we always find our way to each other and i am in awe.

What the ever loving hell? Did the brothers change personalities or what?

It also pisses me off when people make characters who are canonically only supposed to be straight are made to screw their same gender.

I'm one of those people that change personalities depending on who I'm with and I guess to some that automatically means I'm 'fake'. But it isn't like I do it on purpose, it just sort of happens. Analogous to water taking the shape of its container, I change how I act to fit who I'm with. It somehow made me wonder though which of these personalities represented the real me. But they're all me. I am all those things and more. My change in demeanor depending on who I'm with doesn't change the important things. It doesn't make me care less as a friend. It doesn't make me untrustworthy. It doesn't make me fake. It just makes me, me.

I like to paint my nails black. even though I know I can't wear that to work. I come home, do my nails and just have a great night knowing my nails are black, looking at them, being conscious about them, and feeling good about them. then in the morning, before leaving for work, I wash it off. you might say it's stupid. but those hours I spend alone, away from everydays, being just who and what I am, it's totally worth it.

black nails are just an oversimplified example. but I hope you get my point.

Relationships between your characters should shift throughout your novel. As your characters change and experience new things their personalities will change, so it only makes sense that the way they see others, and the way others seem them, would change as well.
