Introducing Changing Fates a Legend of Zelda AU

Hi guys so as you know I am now starting up a new AU thats been rattling around in my brain for about a year now and I’m ready to really start investing more time and developing it. 

What is the plot?

 The main story is about a man named Link who’s great ancestors were the Hero of time and Hero of twilight. Throughout his childhood he was trained and told he would be chosen when the time for evil to rise came again. It was foretold in a prophecy that the evil would rise in his lifetime and a hero would be chosen as they always were.... but that evil never came. He trained well into his teens even early adulthood but nothing came. Eventually as the years passed he believed the prophecy to be wrong and he settled down with a girl. He has a son and for 10 wonderful years they have peace. However on his son’s tenth birthday evil starts to rise once more and Link is ready, but he isn’t the chosen one. Instead its his son that must bear the burden of a hero. Link refuses and decides to take matters into his own hands, even if it meant without the assistance of the goddesses. He is taking destiny into his own hands

So I’m currently working on what I would like link to look like in this au but im still working out the details I did do a quick sketch of him here but i may make some tweaks later on. Other characters I’m still developing and plan on also sketching out and working out there designs.
