which is why he almost trips off the stage when he sees jisoo yelling and clapping alongside seungcheol, jeonghan, and soonyoung, the rest of his friends seated around them, pretending to not know who they are.
and after the ceremony is over, chan rushes to where seungcheol told him they’d be waiting, practically flying as he throws himself into his boyfriend’s arms, inhaling jisoo’s floral scent and doing his best to tame his too-loud and frantic heartbeat.
