Steamship Chantaboon in 1952. Its route was from the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok to Tha Chalaep on the Chanthaburi river near Laem Sing.

The pier at Tha Chalaep is now used by marine police and the archaeological diving boat.

Sen Chan noodle is signature noodles in Chantaburi since it can be found exclusively in the province. The sauce is similar to one and only Pad Thai but the noodle gives different texture and taste.
