We used to see a 'pong-pang' man on his bicycle in our Chanthaburi town, he had a charcoal burner heating the container of black dye, a mobile clothes dyeing service.
The 'pong-pang' due to the sound of him riding along with a little drum clicked as he pedalled along.
A dying tradition - would be almost ten years since I've seen one.

August 2025 is the 108th anniversary of Tha Mai Poolsawat Ratnukool School
โรงเรียนท่าใหม่ พูลสวัสดิ์ราษฎร์นุกูล which now has 1500 students enrolled.
The school was originally named Wat Nong Prong School.
Honda store in Chantaboon, opposite Wat Chantanaram.
Dated as late 1960s.
Steamship Chantaboon in 1952. Its route was from the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok to Tha Chalaep on the Chanthaburi river near Laem Sing.
The pier at Tha Chalaep is now used by marine police and the archaeological diving boat.
