Naoto dressed up to look like a boy because she felt that being a boy(as well as being a grown up) was the only way she could be accepted in the police force.

Now, I'm pretty sure if someone turns her into a dude, they're putting her in an opposite sex AU, which means it would be a matriarchy instead of a patriarchy. Considering Naoto's character in Persona 4, if this did happen, he'd dress up like a woman so he wouldn't be discriminated on, just like the original Naoto did.

I don't know, it's just a pet peeve of mine, seeing as how it's kinda destroying Naoto's character. If you do that, you're completely ignoring Shadow Naoto, as well as Shadow Kanji(and regular Kanji).

Pretty much my issue with it is that without Naoto dressing like a dude, Kanji's wouldn't think he's gay(which is a huge part to his Shadow), as well as Naoto wouldn't have as much of an issue with herself as she did.

I could probably go on making the same points, but hopefully you get it.
