Good day, Princess Twilight! Have you ever tried researching Princes Luna's ability to spectate dreams of ponies? What are the results? If so, have you, personally, tried to "meddle in" in other ponies' dreams to lower the stress that they might have, as in nightmares for example? How did it affect them on psychological level? Is it possible to miss an important lesson for them, if the "nightmare" situation is ... disposed?

It’s not an ability I have, it’s Luna’s particular talent. Besides, I don’t think it would be a good idea for me to go bumbling about in ponies’ dreams. It might be interesting as a research project but it could negatively impact their psyche. Even if I was trying to fix things, I might as well just end up making things worse.

I suppose ponies could volunteer, but I still don’t think I would do it. Not if I thought I was putting somepony at risk. While you could argue that it’s their risk to take, ponies also expect a lot of me, and they might not have an entirely objective and realistic view of my abilities. I would hate to abuse their faith in me for my own benefit.

If you wish to know more about dreams and how those are managed, you would have to ask Luna. Though I imagine some dreams have a deeper meaning, an understanding to reach, and some are just going over unpleasant thoughts to no benefit. Just like any sort of thinking, really. Some things are good to ponder and learn from, but don’t dwell on things you can’t do anything about.
