Shayla took a small step back, forehead still slightly scabbed from when Elliot had found her earlier in the week. Swallowing she glanced at him, studying him feeling slightly guilty knowing the look on her face must have been one of being horrified. Shaking her head quickly she decided she could trust whoever this was given his outward appearance he didn’t seem like someone that would hurt her. That was on the top of her worry list currently given not only her line of work but what was going on with Elliot and Vera although the change in jobs she would soon be taking on seemed promising why not start off with more optimistic approach to her new life. “Yeah ‘course.” She commented and glanced over him towards her place before raising a hand and pointing. “I live just a half block down think you can make it? I have water and shit so we can figure out what the issue is.” She offered a friendly smile doing her best to come off as a better person than she probably was. “I’m Shayla by the way.”
